Opening stat comparing number of 400 yard games in a season. Mac Jones had 5 compared to Burrows 4 and he did it in 2 less games. Mac's 2020 season is criminally underrated.

I didn't say he was better, just that his season was severely underrated. Plus, Mac played an all SEC schedule while Burrow got to pad stats against Georgia Southern, Northwestern state and Utah state.

Although they dominated throughout the season, they were a much better team vs Ohio state than they were at mid-season. The additional five games worth of improvements were insurmountable.

I include punts when they're relevant to the game, meaning when they were long, shanked, blocked, run back, downed near the goal line, etc. I don't include the regular 40 yard punts by the same logic that I don't include a 4 yard run - it's just an average play.
