Nice video. Small tip, once new filter is pre assembled bathe it in new oil before installing. This ensures the engine always has oil, and helps you find the correct level.

You did pretty good, but you should have made sure the area where the oil filter's o-ring seats, was spotlessly clean, before installing and tightening the new filter into place. Also, you check the oil level when hot and with the bike level (per Moto Guzzi's manual) which is why people need a service stand, or center stand on the bike, to properly do maintenance.

Absolutely. The oil should be warmed up before starting the oil change. Bike needs to be upright. A block of wood under the kick stand for example. Oil filter should be at least partially filled with new oil. Possibly put new o rings and torque nuts to specs. Good job! 👍

This is a very good video but I think this whole procedure would go MUCH easier if the bike were on a center stand.
