Nah, bought some Vortex instead. I agree that Amazon ones are a no no, But I disagree with the prices of ASV. Solid vid!!!! Look forward to more mods on the MT-09. By the way I think the service manual calls for grease on the bushings you installed. Not sure if you added that. Don't want those expensive levers binding on you.

isnt the whole point of these levers is that they can be adjusted? If they are too far out then, it defeats the purpose.

Yup. Everything done in America. From the first block of metal to the letters on the blades. This product was invented, assembled and sold in America. It improves EVERYTHING about a stock lever. 5 year warranty? Yes please. 🤘 ASV rocks!

I’ve purchased 4 sets of “Amazon levers”, put over 30K miles on them with ZERO issues. They work just as good as ASV or CRG. You talk like they’ll break apart in your hands- they won’t.🙄

@@UrbanMoto down on one? No, cuz they work just fine. Never greased one either. ASV/CRG are very nice but they’re no better. They cost more cuz they’re made in USA.

Totally agreed the CNC levers come from China work just as good as ASV. The price for ASV is too expensive and not worth it, just only the levers not the whole thing. Where i'm living with 320-340 USD, you can get a 2nd hand RCS 19 Corsa Corta Master Cylinder and Galespeed Clutch in good condition.

You could snap a pair of Amazon levers and replace them 4 times for the cost of a single pair of asvs, defo seem like overpriced imo
@jonathanjr1894 Жыл бұрын
Everyone has their own idea of what makes sense. Some would spend the extra money and some don't mind paying for the cheaper option and replace 4x in the life of one good set. I just picked up a pair of avs cause I personally prefer not to get cheap shit put on a bike I ride a lot.

CRG Levers are about $10 cheaper and I’ve heard great things. What are the advantages of ASV over CRG if any?
@orangeplaneteer Жыл бұрын
Both are quality, made in California, by racers. CRG had the on the fly adjustment first. ASV had the unbreakable design patented first. So CRGs had to be different. Worse or better? There's not much to a lever pivot. So I think it would come down to preference or specific factors of a spill. Both are quality and worth their price.

A lever is three parts. The "blade" is the part your fingers touch. This is the model #. Then there's the joint. Then there's the year/make/model specific "knee", which is what bolts to the bike. The knee is what actuates the clutch cable and/or MC. And the front brake MC. The blade is what you pull on.

Garbage levers. One size fits all garbage that never fits any one bike right. The newer knuckles are badly made and rarely fit the master cylinder plunger gap correctly so you cannot dial in the correct free play. They cant even get the R1, the most popular big sportsbike on earths knuckle to fit right, it doesnt even reach the brake switch correctly and you cannot fit a Jubilee switch as they are "Normally closed" type switch. They ignore you and dont reply to emails even the biggest UK stockist Calsport cannot get any customer services out them whatsoever. Avoid!!
