I have been a fan of Thrice since the early 2000's and have loved every album they've released. They're one of those bands that you love after listening to their recordings and obsess over when you see them in concert. Dustin has one of those voices that gives you chills and goosebumps.

Thrice is a god tier band. Would love to see content with you and Dustin.

This guitar and the wiring is extremely interesting - I could get freaky with it.

I actually think the pickups being medium hot is a good call! What I like about vintage and medium hot output pickups is that they're open sounding and not highly compressed. High output pickups can get a little "boxy" sounding at times
@alex_the.mallett4 жыл бұрын
My first thought with the stereo split cable was to have the humbucker going to a driven amp and the single coil going to a clean amp and doing a two amp rig like that

Basically what he does on his live rig I believe

I was lucky enough to get one of the first 25 that were made back in early 2019. Absolutely love this guitar, wouldn't trade it for the world!

The possibilities of this guitar are really fantastic! I own the Tobacco Sunburst version and I can tell you, this axe makes you creative like a beast! And it bewares you from the vintage/relic demon ;) The limit is your ability! When it fits your hands, get one! Well done EBMM and especially Dustin Kensrue! Thx for the great review Fluff!

Thanks Fluff, really interesting concept for the electronics on the Music Man RS. Seems quite versatile, especially combined with the Line 6 Helix. The overdrive tone you were playing first was really really amazing.

I've never wanted a signature guitar until now. Ive seen thrice half a dozen times and hope to make it a full dozen before the end
@ransombaggins93014 жыл бұрын
LOVE that Kensrue model! Simple but somehow versatile. Looks awesome. I *think* I still prefer the Satin Tobacco Burst, but either of the models suits Dustin and this guitar perfectly. Good stuff!

Thanks for the vid & review, Fluff! Sick guitar. The only design element I would have recommended is a black headstock to match the pick guard color and a "TV Blonde/Gold" painted MM logo. It would fit the genre and vibe better,...imho (not that anyone cares). Others' mileage may vary.

@Fluff ... curious to know what mods/variations you have on the one that you're using. Thanks for another great review!

Nice guitar, love the RS, but would never use that stereo pickup blending button. It would kill me having a button I couldn't and wouldn't use.

I'm a big fan of the HS pickup configuration. This guitar sounds really good but please tell me something. Why does the the neck pickup look a bit further away from the fretboard? I feel like a regular strat with single coil neck doesn't usually have that much gap, but I might be wrong
@jmelara3244 жыл бұрын
I own one of these and the neck pick up sits well where it’s at
@MisterRorschach904 жыл бұрын
I love when people do interesting stuff with their gear like that. It would be perfect for switching between styles of music. Imagine having the humbucker going to a Mesa, soldano, or marshal high gain amp, and being able to instantly switch to the neck pickup and play through a fender or or some other boutique bluesy amp. You could also have two amps plugged into a mixer and looper and play two different guitar parts in a song at the same time. So cool and the guitar is beautiful and is starting to make me like stingray more than tele.
@andrewwhitworth13604 жыл бұрын
Ive noticed that on this model and on your own stingray RS (which is absolutely stunning) they have a trem bridge. Do you block them down rather than have them floating?
@RiffsAndBeards4 жыл бұрын
They are resting on the body stock so they aren’t floating anyways. I do tighten the springs tho.
@andrewwhitworth13604 жыл бұрын
Riffs, Beards & Gear is it your preference to have a trem style bridge and set it flat to the body rather than a hard tail bridge? I would be interested to see how you set up your EBMM guitars in a future video maybe?
@allanhetfield19224 жыл бұрын
That's clean
@Tonskiislegit4 жыл бұрын
I wonder if you could say use the cable and plug into two different amp heads? One set to clean other sent to dirt? Going into the same orange 2x12 cab. Is that possible or will that hurt my amps and or cab? Lol
@RiffsAndBeards4 жыл бұрын
I think it would be fine, Dustin hasnt tried it either.
@Tonskiislegit4 жыл бұрын
Riffs, Beards & Gear thanks also could you use his signature and just bypass the volume and tone without that cable? Like think of gibsons “bypass” bridge switch they did
