I just got one and it works great. If you end up with a completely dead battery, you have to charge the Autowit unit first. If the battery isn’t completely dead, which most aren’t when they won’t start a car, this thing works and is a must have!

I bought one of those. Best money I've ever spent. My alternator wasn't working on my car. It boosted and started my car 7 times before I recharged the unit. I've even charged my cellphone Definitely a must have invention..Does not work on a completely dead battery.

1. The product you have is called the "Autowit SuperCap2 Jump Starter", not the Autowit Supercap2 BATTERY PORTABLE Jump Starter. There is NO BATTERY in that product. It has Super Capacitors. It does not work like a battery charger so will not and can not 'charge' your battery. You'll need to buy a battery charger to do that. 2. The percentages you're reading on the unit are the capacities of the Super Capacitors, NOT the battery the product is connected to. 3. For better videos and more positive reviews, invest in a tripod and use it so you're not flinging the camera view all over the place.

I watched a couple other reviews of this product...and then found this one. Wow...This is not how you review a product you know nothing about. You might want to read the instructions BEFORE you film yourself attempting to use it. This was embarrassing. People, look elsewhere for a review on this product ( this video should be deleted)

Unfortunately you are correct. According to the Washington Post, the vast majority of Americans do not read the manual on a new/unfamiliar product they have bought. When they damage it or it doesn’t work like they thought it should, they label the product as a piece of crap and either send it back or inundate support with questions that are in the manual.

This is not what u need. This is a starter only. Get a plug in wall charger (no battery pack on it). Or an ac to dc converter (best option and no battery needed).

Well when it comes to trickle chargers I like my CTEK. Within reasonable you can rejuvenate batteries I rejuvenate my bike battery in my truck battery once a year and I keep my house generator on one also. Otherwise I have a small jump pack and it works it’s about the size of my hand I forget the manufacture but Scotty Kilmer on his channel suggested it and I have seen it on others sites I have jumpstarted a Mustang with it and it can be useful for powering a cell phone if needed, Battery technology has come along way summer strictly only capacitor inside which you actually use almost the dead battery to charge the capacitors for a few moments of your chargers or jumpers actually have a battery inside being lithium iron or lithium ion

Lithium ion batteries have alot over lead acid now they have come up with even better battery technology but as is with lithium your car batery only needs to be 20% of the size they currently are.

@@TatroMachine i built an e bike 5 years ago and have a lithium battery pack in it and i ride it 5 miles a day every day and i swear by lithium batteries . Ive got a impact gun and drill that have lithium batteries both are 10.years old and the batteries are still going great .

I'm a bit confused as where Li-Ion batteries came into this. The Autowit is not a battery, it's a bank of five supercapacitors that charge quickly, and can discharge even quicker. There is no Li-Ion battery involved.
