Just a quick review and walk around, showing the 2020 FX SVHO limited edition. We look at the storage and speaker system and also go over the new digital display features. Enjoy!!

Good looking Ski man!! I have the Yamaha FZR -11 myself.. Looks VERY much the same.. Got 1 uploaded video if you see on my KZbin page.. I laughed when you said " this is one of the reasons I bought it" 1 plastic container 100% waterproof 😊 Got exactly the same on mine.. Nice to also see they have same Engine, still using the 1812cc one that I got in mine.. Its a true beast.. Even though mine has 210hp friends with for example Seadoo RXT and 250hp I beat him in terms of speed and acceleration.. AND most important.. When we have fun on the water.. When he runs out of fuel.. Same 70L I have almost every time 50% fuel left 😊😊👍👍👌

We just got two, the exact one in your video as well as another FX SVHO- electric blue with lime trim. We can't wait to finally get out on the water tomorrow. We barely could find that limited one though.... got lucky when we called they just had one come in. It came with all kinds of bells and whistles including the cooler, the speakers, a tube and a few other goodies. Hope you are enjoying yours!

I love the look. The blue is really nice. I don't like how easy those speakers are to steal. And they appear to be in the way of the screen.

How is this Compared to the GP1800r in speed ? Obviously this is a lot heavier. What would you give it for Comfortability and compared to the seadoo? I used to have Yamaha FZS but way to harsh, want something more comphy for the kids ...

Harrison Kay my friend has the gp1800r and we have raced and speed is pretty much the same. I used to have the rxp x260 and this is much more comfortable on the sea it cuts through waves where as the seadoo is very uncomfortable on the sea. I purchased this because it’s much more family friendly for my kids, not as much fun as my rxpx260 though as it’s very hard to get the nose out of the water to jump etc but speed and handling is great on this ski. Also towing biscuits , knee boarders on back is much better then the seadoo as this is much more stable.

Is this Yamaha's largest and most powerful unit? I'm looking for something for ocean cruising. Something stable and good in rough waters. But I want power for those calm days. I'm also 6'5 if that matters on which Yamaha you recommend. Thanks. Great video.

I haven’t tested it in rough waters yet but I find it to have great power and it does slice through the waves. I would recommend testing before you buy one though. This model is more agile so that does make it slightly less stable.

Ive seen two really good reviews on the same model, and both said it handles pretty well/stable in rough or choppy conditions.

Have a 2009 FXSHO... bought brand new for under 10k. These new machines are stupid high priced now. Cool machine but my 09 will still walk around any new HO.

How much does this unit weigh (with a full tank of gas and trailer combined)? I was contemplating whether to get someone like this but was told that my 2020 Toyota Rav 4 has a towing capacity of 1500 lbs. Would this jet ski, gas, and trailer be too heavy to tow. I’ve never towed anything before and this would be a whole new experience for me. Thanks.

I doubt it all exceeds 1500 lbs. depends how heavy the trailer is coz the ski wouldnt weigh anymore than 800-900 lbs.

it's locked, but you have a button up to the glove box that permits you to change the menu screen.

Gp1800r svho is much quicker. I know it's limited to 65 by the engine computer but it can go past 72 without the limiter. Faster yet with riva race kits. It's a complete monster. Fx is pretty much the luxury suv of the ski world. Lol

@@chrisbenko6824 no problem. The fx series also happens to be a bit more stable in rougher waters. Since it's a bigger craft it's easier to board without the fear of it tipping over.

Yea i was thinking maybe a lighter shade of blue with metallic . And have it printed with some real tuff looking Fonts . For my family that became a big dinner time subject what would be the coolest looking registration numbers .

R F I also used to own a seadoo but changed to this recently as I hear the same thing about reliability, also the storage and standard bilge pump not to mention the new look of the Yamaha made me go for this one. Digital colour screen with speakers are a bonus.

YAMAHA ! next time you see a JetSki rental business , look at the machines they rent ......there ALL YAMAHA's ! my next door neighbor and I bought Ski's about the same time ......my YAMAHA never me 1 problem , my neighbors Ski (SkiDoo) gave him all sorts of issues, I had my Yamaha 6 years , not once did it give me ANY problems......spend a little more $$$$$ , and buy the Yamaha! I

Things I like: Over all look with blue Things I don’t like: Gotta charge the speakers and easy to be stolen. Compartment rubber straps seem lame and weak hinges, small screen too far forward.

the speakers are pretty cool, you can remove them to take them with you on land or wherever you want; they remove easily so that you can keep them safe when not in use. it would be nice if they had a lock of some sort though...
