@@christopherumbach9178 maybe. But remember that 90% is still a really high rate for a move that’s 130 base power outside of dynamax. RNG is something that’s part of Pokémon that we live and die with. My friend missed a SNARL two days ago and it cost us a max lair raid battle we were shiny hunting. Snarl’s accuracy is 95%.

I watched Wolfe's prep video for this match, it was honestly so impressive how he came up with this battle plan. In the beginning he really struggled and then he came with the answer of using Dusclops to take a max strike and dynamaxing Kartana. Making Kartana sweep the first round conditions the opponent to target it down heavily in the second game, which let Wolfe set up trick room safely and win with Glastrier.

Despite that Overheat miss costed Alex a lot of momentum, I don't get why at the end of Game 1, with his Weezing + Eleki against Wolfe's Fini + Kartana, he didn't go for Electroweb + WoW. Granted that both moves hit, he would have killed Fini and left Kartana in range for a Protect stall on Weezing's end or for Tbolt from Eleki to finish it off, had Kartana killed Weezing. I am pretty sure Misty Terrain had expired at that point. Can someone tell me why?
@SatanicWren3 жыл бұрын
He might not run Electrowebs, if he is dual sceens eleki then he is prolly Volt Switch/Tbolt/Screens

Because electro Web would ko the fini but not the kartana and I'm pretty sure - 1 speed kartana still out speeds wheezing and wheezing doesn't have any moves to kill the kartana apart from willo wisp and the wheezing needed like a triple or quadruple proctec to kill with willo wisp so to win the game Alex needed t bolt to crit
@annamariairrera80043 жыл бұрын
@@shady7335 Weezing would have outsped -1 Kartana because it was max Speed. But youre right, it didnt have anything to touch it regardless. To win by WoW it needed a triple Protect I think, but a 10% chance is still better than a 0% chance. Critting Eweb would have secured him the win just as much as critting Tbolt, because at that point he would have had to just protect Weezing and let the residual burn damage pick up the KO
