Bottas had two purple sectors compared to Hamilton's temporary pole, that doesn't mean much. After Bottas got provisional pole Hamilton had one purple sector compared to Bottas' time but that sector 2 purple was a bigger margin that made up for the other two sectors. Like PythonVFX said, look at the lap comparison and you'll see what happened.

Interestingly could be powerful for the unusual weekend of Q3 mediums, since they need more time to be in the perfect window and the start of hotlap 1 might be very slightly below temp. The initial wear drop-off into lap 2 is probably almost non-existent for M compared to the usually harsh S that does penalize 2nd consecutive laps.
