On my 14 , (minus a few parts obviously) exhaust button has 2 functions, on & auto . In auto & 4 low it doesn't kick on , but when its just on & 4 low it works fine . Just food for thought, I dont know how the 22 is set up .

🤔🤔 might of changed a few things, but apparently with a tune on these trucks you can alter the brake to kick on in 2low So I’ve got some homework to do

I tried the use case of exhaust brake in 4WD low with a “2018 emissions un-equipped” truck. Works. Guess they give you that feature with the tuning package.

That's why you need a 4500 or 5500 with the 4.88. You can go to 4lo and and exhaust brake.

4.88 compared to a 4:10 is such a minimal difference, that’s why having that 2low surpasses that ratio like it’s nothing. Having 4.88 will just murder me on the hwy
