I use a plastic 1 gallon bottle to hold up there so it drains into the bottle. Ps: I cut the bottle in half.

Awesome video! Im renting one to expand pur church parking lot. 60x150'. Base is 2 1/2" and 3/4" top coat. Is this D3 over kill and if so what do you recommend? How deep should I go and would that be 1 pass with the D3? Cheers

You will get the job done quick but won’t have a good final product when you’re done spreading stone if I understand that right. Sometimes a Deere 210L can work out very well for spreading with out much to fix after wards and more forgiving of a tractorn

@IManOPERATOR thanks for responding! I didn't explain myself very well sorry. Plans are D3 to go down 7" then a skid steer to spread stone. I was going to use a roller for compacting also. Or should I just use the skid or the deere? Is 7" to low or ?? Thanks!

Put the Banks Ram intake, boost tubes, exhaust, cold air intake and the pedal monster on there, you will not be disappointed. I get about 22 - 23 doing 60 - 65, about 19 doing 70 - 75. Pedal Monster gives you a much faster pedal response.

Couldn't agree with you more (7:15) drain plug; the Kobota SSV-65 actually has a drain hose in the back and is accessible when taking off the bottom plate. Why Kobota didn't do that with the SVL 65-2 also (IMO) is a fail. The other items I don't see/hear much about is the transmission. So many videos concentrate on the air/oil/hydraulics filters, but that's it. If anyone has knowledge of a transmission video, I would be interested to watch it. (Thanks for the video!)

I build kits also and it’s honestly one of the best things to do for the ram diesels because if the not so well off electricle system they have. That’s where is started was on the 3rd gen 2006 and up battery kits. I call them a big 7 because I add multiple grounds to the kit and use a big ass fuse setup on the alternator cable rather than a fused link cable. . I also use a 10ton hydro crimper and then either drill a hole if there is not one and heat up the cable ends with a torch and bury soilder into it to hopefully lessen the room for corrosion to be able to start or get in there. Appreciate the video.
@IManOPERATORАй бұрын
Yeah those stock cables are garbage. Good stuff on the added grounds.

To keep the diesel from spilling all over the place on the rear filter, I use a large zip lock bag (allows you to see what is happening). Put it over the canister when unscrewing the drain / housing letting the diesel spill into the bag. Cut open large cardboard shipping boxes and lay them all over the ground under the truck to absorb small spills. Thanks for the video, it helped me save money.
