You can't catch someone who is actually lapping you they are so far ahead. 😂 Just like the model 3 has passed the leaf as the all time most sold ev. In just it's 3rd year of production. I minimally know of two cold weather testings Rivian has done. When they started filming for Long Way Up in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, it was winter (southern hemisphere). I've read it's a popular location in the auto industry to do cold weather testing. The other was in North America, I believe in Canada. Beyond that I suspect Rivian has done much more cold weather testing. That's all well and good but personally, what's more important to me are the results from it. THAT we haven't heard yet, let alone any independent range testing metrics. So even though they've obviously done cold weather testing, we need to see some numbers.

Great car, my biggest concern is access to power stations in Canada you may find some stuff around 2 hours driving from big cities up north there is nothing. Second concern is maintenance you may only find a repair center in big towns up north is impossible plus you only go to official repair dealer extra cost $/H but is a beautiful car I want try for sure!

I'm curious, why didn't Riven go fly by wire, I'm assuming that the steering is mechanical linkage. Because if it was fly by wire, the whole steering / pedal box could have been put on runners and slid from one side of the dash to the other, kind of like a Unimog. Making Riven a truly international vehicle and way simplifying production. One vehicle for all markets
