Thanks for the review! Well done.What I always miss in Gimbal reviews:What phone were you using? So no slow mo for Android in 4K.At least you didn't show it.Missed the menu of 1080...you did cut off very quickly.No 24 FPS.Timelapse?When you demonstrated soft Zooming,I only saw a very slow panning?

I was planning to buy an osmo DJ mobile 3 or 4 ...but then I saw this gimbal...and it looks good as per few reviews seen of late ... How is the stabilization .. as I could see its getting a bit shaky in the video on few modes ... And should I go for this... ?

Very good product and very nice review as well. I believe this is the gimbal that I've been searching for. But there's one more thing that I'd like to know before I decide to buy it (or not)... Is the Smart-XR and AC-Play App fully compatible with Samsung Galaxy-S9 (without crashing)??? And what phone were you using in this video? Thanks so much.

I haven't used it with S9, so can't say for sure. But I used Google Pixel 4XL using this Gimbal and it worked great - so I see no reason why it wouldn't work perfectly fine with the S9 too - Both are the same versions of the app on Google Play, so you should be fine!

THANK YOU, finally someone reviewed this thing, I've waited for a month for someone to cover this because it was so new. One question though, do you think this will work with stock camera apps, or different camera apps? of course I'd expect the zoom and focus sliders won't work, but hopefully I can change the modes on the fly without using the app. Thank you again!

Hey, Glad I could review it before anyone else! Yep, you can use the different modes without having the app. Everything is controlled by the joystick and visible on the LED Display - so no need for the app! Zoom and Focus won't work, and the shoot button won't work, but all modes and the switch to portrait mode will work natively :)

It's a really good gimble. But the AC play app that is associated with it is troublesome. I can't install it now. Therefore I have been unable to use most of it's functions.

@@TrendingReviews thank you. My only problem, is that none of these Gimbels allow you to shoot film at 24fps. And I'm working at a film at that frame rate, so I won't be able to take advantage of the software. Oh well, one day they'll all get it together. Or I might have to just get an iPhone. :-)

@@RockWILK you should download ismart go app. This app same as ac play they re selling same gimball but different name and brand they have own app ismart go and this app has new update 1.5.2 . This update has 24 FPS

It's the same app, but for the Bomaker Branded version of this gimbal (identical hardware) but has an update to version 1.5.1 from Jan 7 2021, 24 fps shooting, and works better. Even has firmware update, but I would be cautious about trying that, especially since it shows same version as already on the Aochuan Gimbal

I just got this Gimbal. But getting a replacement battery seems confusing. Even though the battery itself is available, you have to get a special one from Aochuan which has a special plate in it. But the are not prepared to ship such a battery. Very confusing information from them and this will probably cause me to return this gimbal.

It's a removeable battery - so if you can find one of the same model but higher mah, then yes, you can.

@@mirkobocca Hi, now Android can support 1080P/720P 60fps, but not support 4K 60pfs. Because many mobile phone models do not open relevant interfaces to third-party software, so we cannot implement it at present. Even DJI OM4 has the same problem.

I don’t believe this gimbal allows for the Ultra Wide Angie view without the Gimble Axis showing up in the footage. This is a Deal Breaker for me 🙃

Although we have not received any feedback about the problem of the OnePlus 7t ultra, because its camera is located closer to the middle of the phone, we think it may have this problem. But because most stabilizers currently use similar structural designs, we believe that even other stabilizers will have the same problem. The best way to solve this is to have a new stabilizer design (hope our R&D team can do this), or optimize the phone design, or replace the phone (just a joke😝😝).
