@@Drmdunn do not worry mate, just because the owner now is chinese doenst mean the quality will be different, they are still using engineers and people from Sweden mainly, and the only car that is build in China is S90, all the rest models are produced in Sweden, Belgium, USA

Hello I enjoyed the video. Wow! What an impressive automobile. Thor's hammer in the headlights, I'm glad you pointed that out. The back seat, amenities were amazing. Test drive, I was hoping you guys were gonna stop at the Dairy Queen, for ice cream. Then you could have said that the seats were easily cleaned. ( Ok I wanted ice cream while watching this) lol. Wow, you can go bowling in that backseat. Interesting console setup with the physical home button like a giant cell phone. Those center air vents are huge! Still scratching my head over the twist to start. Great video gents!

Loved this car when it first came out. I've sat in one a few times at auto shows & looks more stunning in person especially with the beige interior with wood. I wish Volvo would start bring back six-cylinder engines though.

Man they really fooled me with the engine sound. It sounded like a V6 on the first run up. I wish y’all could experience an I5 engine in a Volvo-it sounds a lot like the 80’s and 90’s Audis I like so much. Also the I6 that was used in the early S80 was a nice engine as well. I heard the blower for the first time when y’all put it in Dynamic. If I was after one, I’d choose the air suspension, because with headphones on I hear a lot of road noise from an otherwise quiet platform. I’ve started wondering with as much road noise we hear on new cars, how much of it is related to using cheap/inappropriate tires. I put some BF Goodrich Advantage T/A’s on my CX-9, and interior noise has been reduced by 50%, vs OEM Falken Ziex summer tires. Thanks for another great review.

Just picked up my 2021 Inscription today. My god the backseat is huge! My kids are 6ft2inches tall and they were both sitting back there on the way home from the dealer. It was hilarious, more room than the XC90 we turned in. And almost 1,000 pounds heavier than Jaguar, BMW 5, Audi, Mercedes E so super safe + plus my 250lbs lol

No one beats Volvo for seat design and comfort. The S90 seems a great value, but would lean towards a lease given the historic long term reliability concerns. I would not be surprised to start seeing these as executive car service fleet vehicles.

i miss the sound of the 5 cylinder volvo engines! my s60 has a 2.0 turbo 5 cylinder petrol engine my old one was a 2.4t they both sound amazing! im in the process of modding my 2.0t bigger k04 turbo from a k04-13 to a ko4-19 bigger intercooler vxr injectors a cold air inake a hybrid blow off valve a catless exhaust 3" hoping to hit the 300hp mark if the engine doesnt last long it wont matter as ihave a 2.5t engine sitting in a garage they are modular engines so identical on rhe outside just different internals so a str8 swap

I don't know which mic was recording the audio during the drive but the interior sounded noisy, the engine, tire noise and that turn signal sounds loud. Is that from the camera on the roof? Or was the shotgun mic's pickup to high?

Our mic does exaggerate road noise when we are on a less than perfect road surface, but the setup is the same as in our other videos 🤔

Car Confections I mention this as I notice in the Maxima and K5 you measured the sound level at around 40 - 50 mph and the Volvo at, what seemed like @ 35mph. Prior Volvo’s (2016 and up) I drove weren’t as quiet as one would think. Last years S60 R Design I drove was the quietest of the batch. They might have started to add back in some more sound abating material as they can get more economy from the engines. One of the reason I opted not to go Volvo at the time, was due to the noise level being too high for a luxury car.

This is the T6 model and V4 engine.
