2020 Winnebago Micro Minnie

This is a completely UNBIASED REVIEW of the 2020 Winnebago Mirco Minnie 2108TB. We found this to be a nice light weight travel trailer with good build construction and an interesting bed. It was a dedicated bed at all times but could convert from 2 twins to a king. Pretty nice, eh!? We also liked the huge shower in the rear bathroom and the large pass through storage. We did feel that the 'Winter Package' was lacking a bit by only having single pane windows. This was a great trailer for a couple or solo traveler and would be perfect for the weekend warrior but maybe a little cramped for an RV Sometimer or full timer, although there are plenty of people who could make this nice little trailer work for any length of stay.

Really like your reviews. Great help and resource. Hope you add a drone to your equipment. It will be great to zoom over the roofs of RV’s your showing. I’m interested in this model but when I saw another brand with similar rig the roof where attaches to front appears seamless. Always concerns of leaks so that view of joined seams matters😊 Can you Review the Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S please. its the competitirs model to this.

We do have a drone and use it in our Adventure Videos and we agree it would be cool to show a roof this way but unfortunately drone rules, rv dealership rules or being at RV Shows indoors makes it almost impossible for us to fly the drone ☹ over the RVs. Drone flying has very strict rules. We would love to show the roof and see how it could be valuable to our viewers so we will put on our thinking caps and try to figure out a way. In 2021, they switched to bathroom pocket door so the toilet is now usable w/out slide-out. They also swapped out that wood finish cabinetry for light grey.

Great honest walk-thru. This unit has a very decent amount of storage for being so compact in size! The black holding tank is huge (25gal) actually...so many small rigs have only 12-15gals! All n All, I like this Micro Winnie! 👍🏼👌🏼

Yes that is an option too. Sometimes when there is no receiver there are other reasons such as chassis restrictions so it is important to check with dealership before putting one on either end of the trailer. Thanks for watching.

We have a light weight trailer and we cannot put weight (bikes, ect) on the back because the frame will not support it. Doing so will void the warranty. Thanks for this tour! We love to travel light!

@@DoesSizeMatter Oh, yes! It's perfect for our stage of life! We have teenagers taking most of our time and finances! haha! We will upgrade to something nicer, more durable when they are out on their own. For now it's great! We put a durable piece of plastic on our bed and then lay the kids bikes on top to transport them inside the camper. We make it work with what we have. I really enjoy your rig reviews to see what is out there for the future! Thanks for your time and energy making them!

Does it ever get hot/humid there? I`m from Alabama, extreme heat.

It does get hot here, like 32 degrees C which is about 90F but it is much drier so I think, people tell me, that is easier to handle. But Kory just hops in the lake if necessary, me I'm never too hot!

Actually you probably get more snow in the winter than B.C. does, my brother lives in Sookee B.C. and lots of times hes show pictures in short wading in the water. Rubbing it in to his family in Ontario were we got lots of snow.

@@1958kyra it is weird that BC has such a wide range of snow fall levels. Some areas see almost none and then others can see many many feet of it. I guess that gives people a choice. Kory would always choose the deep snow and I would always choose next to none.

May I ask why people don’t simply put their bikes inside their trailer, and not have to worry about them during travel?

That would be a last resort for us unless we had an RV garage. The mess and potential damage of rubbing or tipping over, dirt, oil, rubber all things we would not want inside our rig and having a bike rack is so simple and easy for us. We love ours. We would not want the ordeal of hauling the bikes in and out of the rv. Having said that if we could not do it any other way we would put them inside vs not taking them. We have not heard of a lot of folks worrying about their bikes during travel, was there something specific you were thinking about?

Does Size Matter Nothing more specific to add really. To each their own. I wipe off any dirt, and lay it down a tarp in the trailer. Then bungee it down so it won’t move. Sadly, I just don’t trust people to not “mess” with my bike when I’m parked at a rest area or something like that.

@@Bum_Hip I see your point and we agree with 'to each his own'. We have not ever had a problem with our bikes being tampered with while on the rack, sometimes they are covered sometimes not, always locked. We have however had my bike stolen once but it was in a secured rv resort and locked to Kory's against our rig under a slide. So.... again the problem was not during travel and it happened to other folks in the park that same night. Most importantly, keep doing what works for you and is the least stressful allowing you to have a wonderful time when you travel. Thanks for watching.

My hubby and I just bought this same rig only with a murphy bed and a couch under it. It's 22-1/2 ft long, and we paid about $40 G end of season sale. We don't even have it yet as the truck we bought to pull it will arrive in early March, so it spent the winter at the dealers!
