Comparing the splits between this world record and Great Britain's in 2012, there's no comparison. 1k Den-1:00.9 GB-1:02.5 2k Den-1:54.6 GB-1:58.4 3k Den-2:49.6 GB-2:54.7 4k Den-3:44.6 GB-3:51.6 Then consider that New Zealand was decimated in this race and they were still 1.9 seconds faster than the GB world record.

This is all Dan Bighams work. I love how much British Cycling rejected him and Denmark snapped him up to coach their TP team. biggest middle finger ever
@htdtr3 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure Dan is only working with them in a technical role, not quite coaching really. And he had a bit to do with it for sure, but saying it's all Dan's work is selling the Danes short, they're obviously 4 incredible athletes.
@sambarrett47263 жыл бұрын
@@htdtr true its a very superlative way of speaking. HOWEVER, don’t underestimate the significance of technical consultancy. At this level thousandths of seconds count. Also, not to downplay their achievement but the Danes physiologically don’t have much difference from the rest of the highest echelon of this discipline, they’re just (incredibly) well prepared for this event
@MrBernt19684 жыл бұрын
