When buying amps you have to match the part number exactly. The amp my work if the system is recoded using DAS Mercedes laptop. It may require Coding from Mercedes Benz. Then maybe it will work. These amplifiers will fail over time from the BLACK DUST OF DEATH that will form on the circuit board and get damp then it will short the board. You must remove your amp and clean the dust off with compressed air and then dry the board with a hair blow dryer to get rid of any moisture. This will save you $1000 for a used amp on eBay! To do so remove the cover that the fan is in. Unplug the fan and you will see the black dust I am talking about. Do this every 4 or 5 years to keep it clean and your amp working!

I’m having the issue with no radio Channels or no audio should i see if there’s any dust if so you think that would maybe resolve my problem removing the dust

No was not able to fix. Bought a used one that did not work. Car still no audio

You must make sure the model is the same for example BE7021. Some amplifiers get corrupt information and they save them. If you get no orange light that means the fiber optic doesn't go from the amp to the DAB.

Had the same problem fixed it with a loop of the fiber optic to the command unit that’s was failing and restarting my audio try that. Can send u video contact on [e-mail]

its seems like the command module for you radio is bad you may have to to a bypass

Hello Friend, what was the final outcome could you fix it? Appreciate you updating us. I think the Harman Kadron Pro Logic 7, is starting to fail! my S550 is the last of facelift W221 and only 7 yrs old :(!
