How does these racing cars track times compare to the top street cars(aventador, mercedes etc.) which break well under 7 min on nurburgring?

This is the endurance layout (25,3 km) and the fastest GT3 times in a 24h race are about 8:10 mins to 8:15 mins for a lap. Below 7 would be the Nordschleife only.

the gt3 class hits mid 6 minute laps on the regular nordschleife but you cant make a record lap every lap for an endurance race that lasts 24 hours if you only have 1 car, its safe to assume the street cars that have set records on the nordschleife would need some adjusting to survive a 24 hour race like this if they want to keep anywhere near their fastest lap times group c was setting low 6 minute laps on the non endurance track back in the day so in my opinion street cars still aren't that close to the fastest lap times done on this track

Now remember these conditions and keep in mind that they were actually trying to keep the race going with Slow-Zones at the really tricky bits. One of the main reasons for the red flag was the length of these SZs which made the tires cool down too much. However eventually they restarted the race on Sunday with 3/4 hours or so remaining and conditions not much better than this. At least they tried! With all this in mind watch some onboards from the 2024 edition. I‘m pretty sure that this will make you realize even more how much of a shit-show this years so called race was…

kinda pisses me off the sound/video arent synced together quite right

it's taken right from the live feed recording. the audio/video sync is askew by 2-3 sec to help with deterring competitors finding the exact brake points easily. in addition it also helps keep the audio playing when the camera goes on the fritz due to reception.
