Another great video! It sounds too good for its price range! You did give me mild PTSD going past the Kilkenny 😂 as I got hit off a few weeks back attempting to pass that junction!

Cracking bike but if you haven't already done it try a 20 year old rsvr mille....it'll scare you from 2nd gear if you wind it open...feels like a bomb going off with the brutality of the grunt on offer. Tries to rip the shoulders from your sockets lol! Way ahead of its time with the most subline chassis that cuts it today, driven by one of the most characterful engines ever made. Aprilia really know how to make and apealling bike. That 660 looks fun and will sell well. I'd miss the instant shove of the bigger engine though. Top tip with Aprilias...wind back prelid a bit if adjustable as they can be over firm from the factory.

I did have a very short test ride on a fairly rough RSV Mille a few years ago... didn't get on with it! I didn't have a chance to throw it around any bends so maybe I would have had a different opinion if I did. Now the 1100 Tuono Factory is a different matter - gloriously mental that bike! I want one but that same time I know I'd probably end up banned if I did! Yep I'm a fan of the RS660... if I could afford another couple of bikes in the shed this would be one of them.

@@RikkyTang I still own a very "not rough" RSVR, and having owned or tried a good number of recent bikes including MT10 nakeds, S1000R, BMW GSA, a Blade, Multistrada and others, I went back to the RSVR. A well sorted one is pure joy. You are just up the road if in Gloucester so happy to let you try a good 'un! 1100 is bonkers good. Any Aprilia with that V4 and chassis takes some bettering imho.

@@SuperGamingcarrot Yes I did indeed borrow the bike from Frasers - great bunch of folks! I'm used to bigger bikes but the bike fitted me fine and I'd be happy to own one 😁 I'm 5'7" and have a 32" inside leg

@@SuperGamingcarrot It's a bit hard for me to imagine how the bike would fit a full sized man 😂 But yes I think you'll be OK on it.. legs may feel a bit cramped on longer rides but since yours are 1.5" longer than mine I can't be 100% on that.

Hi Rikky, a little bit late, but how does this bike compares with the GSX S750? I have the GSX S750 and looking for a new bike. I like the looks of this bike

Hmm that's a tricky one! It depends on what you are looking for in a bike but basically I think there are equally fun bikes to ride in their own way. However the RS660 is capable of being ridden harder - it has better chassis, suspension and electronics. In a straight line the Suzuki is probably about as fast as the Aprilia and is generally more comfortable. So if you are looking to move to a sportier bike then the RS would be a good option to think about. If you would instead like a more modern version of your GSXS then maybe the Tuono 660 or even KTM 890 Duke or MT09 could be better bets.

@@Gixxes010 Ahh I see, yes the lack of protection from the elements on a naked bike does get to you after a while! The Gsxs1000F is a great bike aside from the slightly snatchy throttle response (better on recent models). Very good engine, good handling and I was impressed with the fairing 👍

I thought the point of this bike was to have usable midrange, for road riding. Yet people report a huge drop in torque exactly where its needed.

I’m hoping a power commander will come out soon for the 660 or maybe an ecu flash should do the trick i know the euro standards are more strict over there as opposed to the US (except California)
