Hi, just got back from my vacation, two weeks ago when my mom and I when to visit my family in MI, my aunt picked us up from the airport we borrowed her car, when my mom went into the rental, we ended up renting an 2021 Audi Q5 for the first time, I don't remember what trim level, but my mom and I really liked the Audi Q5! It and a good engine. We've never rented a germen car before so it was our very first german rental car. We try out the wireless phone I thought it was really cool. Fantastic reivew guys keep it up 🚗🚘👍

For the hands free tailgate release, need to hold your foot (still) for at least 2 seconds. usually works.

We love our 2021 Audi Q8S, we used it during our spring road trip from Arizona to New York. We stopped on every National Park on the route, slept and eat in every amazing places from Palm Springs, San Francisco, Oregon, Seattle, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut. On our way home we passed by New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and back to our Home State AZ. It has a very spacious and comfortable seats, the suspension is superb, we mostly love the driver assist and adaptive cruise capabilities. While we can and time permits, we should drive AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL.

I’ve always thought that it’s embarrassing for Audi to have soft-touch plastic armrests. On a car this expensive, you shouldn’t have to pay extra for a leather armrest when you can get it standard on something like a Honda.

The base Q8 model looks too simple. If I were to get one, of course, I would want the Q8 RS for the modifications and aggressive appearance. Sad, that you have to pay for all the extras just to make it look aggressive.The car already costs close to $100K.

Audi is known for making beautiful luxury vehicles. They are the leader in SUV luxury. I had no idea there was a Q8. I don't know what the difference is between this model and the Q7. Car companies should stop cheaping out on features/specs. Especially in luxury cars ,things like heated steering wheel (now cheap technology) and leather seats should be standard.

Solid review, once again. Good job guys! A question: My main concern causing me to hesitate buying the 2021 or upcoming 2022 Audi Q8 (Maybe SQ8) has to do with how dirty all those center screens become, how ugly that center area might look as a result. Even if one constantly cleans them with a cloth kept in the door pocket perhaps, every time you use the radio or other features, it just gets dirty again. You got to see and drive the Q8, what do you think about this concern? Other than that, the vehicle looks incredible.

Thank you! I would say that it is something that you notice, especially when sunlight hits it. At the same time, I imagine occasional cleaning plus getting used to it would make it not such a big deal in the grand scheme of things

This isn’t the problem you think it’s going to be. It does tend to attract finger prints which I clean off every three weeks or so - takes a few seconds with the micro-fibre they supply. But most of the adjustments you need to make when you’re driving are either voice or steering wheel controls. I’ve had my centre console ppf’d and added screen protectors for not very much money so nothings going to get scratched. Having said that, I’ve had my Q8 for eight months and have mixed feelings about it.

I know one thing I wish they would do, is get rid of all that black shiny surface that runs around the center screens and across the front dash, and replace it with some kind of very high end, open poor wood that doesn't smudge, so that the square center screens might be the rest wouldn't. In any case, thanks for the input.

@@Nate-zy5ce Top likes: gorgeous to look at, really quiet in the cruise, tech and interior design (I like the mix of piano black, brushed aluminium and polished wood but not to everyone’s taste). Top dislikes: my diesel has a shocker of a turbo lag, fit and finish (some ‘creaks’), Audi pre-sense emergency braking is very sensitive, aggressive and can’t be turned off, handling is average. Driving the Range Rover Sport I had before always put a smile on my face, the Q8 not so much….

I have also been considering the new Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum or GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate, the 3 liter turbo diesel versions, as well, even the Yukon AT4, but I'll check into the Range Rovers.
