No sir ! Trans ECU is different than engine ecu it's free and clear to be tuned via xhp and it's worth it !

have had my f32 b58 for coming to a year now. so far 0 issues. i did have a weird misfire at cold starts but it did get better once i upgraded to the b58tu hpfp, and changed my plugs. they put champion plugs from factory it seems like so i recommend getting the ngk laser iridium

Hey man I had XHP installed on my M340i , and I was wondering about the transmission - it goes into sports mode when you flick it to the left, that’s obvious. But I have a thing, it goes into sports mode when I flick down to go into “D” and when I flick it down once again, it goes into sports mode without me having to flick it to the left. I didn’t have this problem until I had the XHP installed. So, I got tired of the flash and uninstalled it and the thing is that the transmission still goes into sport when I flick it down. Do you know anything about this ? Or maybe this was actually intended and my car had this feature all along? I checked this on an 8 series(same 8speed auto) , doesn’t have it . Could you please check yours , maybe ask someone you know who also has an M340 idk, cause I don’t really want any software left in my car, I want my shit stock now lol

@@justintimeforbrownies5246 you got it all wrong, i was just asking about the transmission shifter (it should go into S mode when i flick it to the left), but it also goes into S mode when i flick it down after the car is in D - do you think that’s because of the XHP ?

It does kinda hard to hear over video .... Also if you manually shift it , it's less audible if you let the computer shift it it makes more shift fart noises
