Looks like a nice wing. So many new wing this year, hard to choose! Which wing would be better for "touring"? I.e., long distance up/down-winders (i.e., which one rides faster and goes upwind better)?

I believe the Mantis would be better than the X2 for going faster and unwind ability.... But the X2 will have more low end grunt in light winds for sure...

Just ordered three :-D super stoked to try out the Mantis. I also ordered me the Macro 5'4 with the fusion X1950 frontwing and it would be great if you make a clip about the macro and give some advices where to put the mast. I'm a good kitefoiler but I think that Wingfoiling my need some other settings.

Perfect set up! When you start learning have the foil more back in the board so the board does not jump up on you but as you get more confident you can move the mast forward! Honestly I would set it right in the middle and you should be in the perfect spot if you kite foil! :). Enjoy friend....

Thanks for the great review. Can you tell me if the Mantis handles are much more secure than the X2 from a front to back movement point of view? I'm busy demo'ing the X2 6m at the moment, which feels great but coming from a year on Duotone with boom, I would prefer less movement of the webbing front to back. Can you also confirm if the Mantis has harness line attachment points like the X2. Thanks

Damien I just literally open my mantis sunday,i loved it I just got it for fun and feel the air however didnt know where to connect the leash any tips?

After 10 uses the wing exploded. ripped seam. not overinflated and not on impact. warranty declined by Cabrinha. bought at NY Kite Center.

Hi, wind range aprox for 75kgs on each wing size?

Well your 165 pounds... The high end wind range is great on the mantis! You can ride a 5m in some high winds but I would say the 6'2 would be great for you in low end 12knots or more with a big board, but the high end as much as you can hang on! :). 4m maybe 20knots low end.... As for smaller we never ride them in FL..... The X2 for sure the 7m you can ride in 10knots on the low end as there is more grunt.... Hope that helps....

Had my wing 6 month 15 uses and started to leak air not happy apparently this brand is known for leaking.
