windrange is always a tradeoff. if you can slide one more kite in your quiver then, you increase your chance of attaining the sweet spot for performance in that kite. if the conditions you are riding for the day are highly variable (gusting/lulling) then a switchy is always something good to have in the trunk but never my first choice. I can also trust my switchy to get me going in undertow conditions that are fast moving (double overhead ocean breaks), my reference and preference is the FX super sweet but works on a very specific range. I also love my drifter in wave conditions but it lacks the bottom end needed to get out of strong undercurrents where the switchblade does well. I always have to go one size up with the drifter and that's not a safe bet either. rig for the conditions. never rode the moto, wish you'd compare vs existing product line. thanks for the review.

Just started using it. It’s similar to the last gen. So far I’ve only used the 14 in slightly underpowered condition. It feels lighter and faster than the 14 I’ve been using all winter. I’ve enjoyed the ability to get a little extra speed for pop when I’m under. Stand by for the full review. - Rygo

The 2021 Moto flies faster through the window and has a more balanced bridle. The bar sustains a light feel through all angles of attack. Still an awesome freeride kite, and they did not change a whole lot. - Cole

Not sure I've ever flown a kite with too light bar pressure. I got a Drifter recently and in the on-shore setting it's way too heavy for my tastes.

Hey guy, love your reviews. With my 105kg I can go out with an 8m SB by 22knots and it feels comfy up to 27knots. I can go with my 10m SB in 16knots flat water. What range would you recommend for heavy moto riders? Cheers from Germany
