@Cars With Steve I ordered an R/T Plus in Go Mango and the two black R/T stripes down the side. As close as possible to a model of a 1971 Challenger I've had since I was a boy

Great video with great detail. Made me smile. Never driven a Dodge and don't know much about them so I've been doing some research. Trading in my 2019 Mustang GT 5.0 Premium in Kona Blue for a 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus Shaker in Smoke Show this week. Hope I love it as much as my Stang, which has been my dream car since I was a little girl. No, I wasn't looking to get rid of my Mustang, but the dealership contacted me wanting it really bad and made me a deal on the Challenger that I couldn't refuse.

@@CarsWithSteve no stripes. I wanted the ghost stripes but never got around to it. Only after market was the muffler delete. I'll let you know how I like the Challenger. It's still in transport but should be here any day. I'd send you a pic of my stang but don't think it allows me to post pics.

@@capricetony nice colors! I was just in a Charger R/T with the Indigo and was surprised how great it looks in person. I think the 5.7 is probably a good choice.. always the option to do an ECU flash or aftermarket supercharger if you want a bit more power

Buying my "toy" next year, have it narrowed down to the Challenger RT or the Mustang GT. Being 6'2", leaning towards the RT, as it's a bit larger of a car

Neck and neck on those 2 cars - tough choice! Classic Muscle style vs Sport Muscle. The Mustang is supposed to be going through an upgrade in 2023 if you can hang off a bit longer

And the 8 spd auto is even faster. Have had a Challenger RT 6spd and A Charger Daytona 5.7 auto. Daytona was amazing. And surprising hwy mileage with mds engaged.

@@CarsWithSteve Challenger I had for almost 5 years as a weekend car, Daytona was a one year lease, yes, a daily. Jonesing for another one or an RT Challenger. I swear the 5.7 and hwy mpg and handling is amazing to me. 8spd, active and exhaust and Sport settings would make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Daytona Performance suspension package with 9 inch wide wheels and tires helps. I cant imagine Wide bodies. lol. Got to track it too as I worked at a track. It saw Tail of the Dragon and the Pigtrail in Arkansas. Just Amazing. Those cars cars are gone replace with Gr Cher Trailhawk.. Moab was calling, lol. Miata Club is my current choice for auto cross. Economical and dependable. After the chip shortage bs passes, I can see more bad decisions on the horizon. Been thru stuff, Viper, 911, old vettes, old Mopars, SRT stuff, Viper trucks etc. I am basically a stick guy....but the 8 spd zf is a game changer. Performance,, mpgs, paddle shifters, its not like the old days. As a car guy, you might need both a stick and and a modern 8 or 9 speed auto?

I've only heard it in videos for the Challenger but if it's anything like what you'd hear on the Mustang could only imagine how nice it sounds with that hemi. Must have been nice to be able to track things all the time and so great you've been through so many great cars. What would you say are your favourites out of the ones you've owned so far?
