I would like to see a larger mechanical type arm that could bring the TV out to the right so it is in front of the cabinets above the door so you can view it more directly from the seating area. I don't like sitting watching TV with my head having to be turned way to the left to watch it. Or perhaps just lose the cabinet above the door and put a fold down TV up there. Not a deal breaker as I don't spend a whole lot of time while out with the RV watching TV. But there our days where weather doesn't permit being outside that much and sitting watching TV is more prevalent. Awesome RV. Thank you for a very nice video

I agree. The tv is only for the bunk bed. The bedroom has a nice sliding system with the door allowing the tv to be center to the bed. Why not extend the same idea here. Or a ceiling panel or a tv with storage behind above the kitchen sinks.

This is a great floor plan for couples who want a smaller rig with diesel, more room, cargo and towing capacity than a sprinter.

Jim, because of you, Abby and this channel I am pretty much decided on what RV I want to start my retirement with. This is the one I first saw on your channel and it was the Explorer package in the black. The 5500 is a monster and with the 4 X 4 and four seasons, well we are pretty much set for the early winters and when winter drags out into April we will be ok coming back to Canada after enjoying a beautiful winter down in Utah, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and even Mexico. Almost 2k subscribers - keep on grinding! Nice subtle branding with the jacket and polo. I think the CCC was missed but other than that I can't complain about the rig. Dynamax just does it right. Obviously it's designed for a couple and it just works in that realm.

First off, great video. Probably the best I've seen on this coach. I'm actually in the market for one now. And since you asked...Bubble wrap (Reflextics) insulation will tear up quickly, easily replaced but still. Also looks like you can't open the fridge door all the way. Thats ok for me but some RVers are a bit larger. Finally, how about a reinforced bay that could support more lithium batteries as well as heating it. They also use flexible solar panels, it would be nice to have a manufacturer factory install hardened mounting points for rigid panels that are more efficient and higher capacity. Otherwise a beautiful coach...was considering buying last summer when they were about 130k but now most are in the 180 to 200k range. I'll wait till the covid buyers calm down

You are doing a good job. I know people are interested in the features of the Rv living area but little is said about the chassis. Would be nice to mention about mpg, is there heated seats?, other unique features of cab.

Man… I could dedicate a whole video to the chassis! 🤔 maybe I will! MPG will vary by load, towing, driving habits etc! But this rig should get 12-14 mpg. There will be some changes coming to this cab! Stay tuned!

Great video and I love this RV but they need to rethink the refrigerator. I currently have a smaller C which comes with a larger fridge and is only battery and shore power. The 3 way is nice but it also potentially has a lot of issues that comes with it. I have had both and by far prefer the compressor fridge without an LP option. With all the lithium and solar it would not be a problem and allow one to store more food in it. The other issue is I feel can be a deal buster for me is the solar panels. It appears that Dynamax is using flexible panels vs hard mounted. This creates two issues, one is flex panels over time can cause roof damage, they are also very inefficient compared to hard mounted panels. If they would install hard mounted that have the ability to be tilted I would definitely be a buyer for this rig. Other than those two issues it is a great rig but those issues for me are significant. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the feedback! This is one of my favorite rigs. I like the idea of a larger refrigerator aw well. The solar choice likely has to do with weight. I’m ok with it for that reason. I’m sure there will be lighter hard panels in the near future! One thing is for sure…!technology is always getting better!

One GoPower 190w panel is 27 lbs , only 5 panels would be necessary to get 950w and it would weight 135 lbs which is not bad because this model has plenty of cargo capacity. Even less if they put only 4 x 190w which still give 760w so nearly 800w. So only 108 lbs. i think they started to use 5x 190w panel iin the 30fw 2023…it is a no brainer. A 12 v compressor fridge is far better efficient. They should propose one as an option at least, like a Norcold 10 cu ft. Or a dometic equivalent. Also it would keep the propane for the heating and cooking and would allow running the fridge without the inverter and be safe on the road.

I think before long everyone will be using 12v refrigerators to get away from propane. I dig it too my favorite Isata 5!

Yep, agreed. Need a compressor fridge and a locking fuel cap (or a lockable fuel door).

These are built for boondocking. You want Propane when in the woods for more than a day or two. Two days in the PNW and you'll have to run the genny just for the fridge. All electric is for glampers at KOAs. My 07 Dynamax can go over 2 months min off one tank of Propane alternating off lithiums.

Would like to see how the TV over the bunk extends out for better viewing from the lounge chairs Assume chassis seats don't swivel?? Would like to see the roof and installed solar ... and lithium batteries in the xplorer

Big fan of not having an attached rear ladder. Looks so much cleaner. A serious motorhome..A little tight in the hallway area having no opposing slide, but nice..

I’ve tried telling Brian C at Dynamax that they need to offer more options in the cab. It’s silly that they don’t do things like the factory LED lights. There are a few others that would be nice too.
