Check out a small but important preventative maintenance tip for all electric bikes out there to be better protected from the elements and water damage.
Once again, I do want to remind everyone that performing any of these tips how on this video will not "water proof" your bike. This is just a simple but effective way to preserve your bikes electrical system while helping the connectors to differ moisture and corrosion.

Great tips. (I use ACF-50, but corrosion block is great stuff too). BTW, the Escape R is fantastic! Clutch works fabulous and a big difference. The FRB (Fixed Regenerative Braking) works excellent.

As a dealer, do you have the electrical diagram for the escape S 2022?

I'm New to these bikes, and your tips on how to set them up is invaluable. In your experience, do you need to protect the wires going into the motor, such as putting silicone sealant around them? Any tips with throttle maintenance? I'm a trials rider and a smooth throttle is a must.

Thanks, From personal experience the motor wires are just fine and are sealed very well from factory no need to disturb those, as far as the throttle it is seal very well and over a year of riding,washing mud and dirt it has not needed any maintenance since it is 100% ride by wire. no problems there my friend.

Hi. I note the EM web site claims 61 Km range for the 2021 Escape R. What is your real world range experience? Also - is it easy to replace the battery if a spare battery was available?

For the 2021 Escape R i have not tried to ride it on the street terrain so i cannot say if 61km is impossible but i can confidently say 20 miles or 31Km at slow trail speed in technical dry terrain is more realistic in my experience. Now keep in mind mud/hills and high speed riding will all decrease the range so plan you ride accordingly and use regen braking whenever possible to maximize range.
