Confirmed this technique works with the gmc Denali xl 2023. No cheap clips like Cadillac uses along the sides of the seats but tight zippers. Took me about 20mins total time after watching vid.

Lifesaver. My headrest on the Tahoe won’t stay up. Dealer said $1200. lol. Yeah no. I’ll do it myself.

Do it! If you have a later year it may be even easier. People have said on 2022+ they ditched the upholstery clips and started using zippers

Thanks so much! Ironically ours was easier on our 2022 Yukon SLT because the back part of the seat had a zipper on each side instead of the J channel like yours.

Someone else mentioned the same thing. Still not super easy but at least they made it easier!

With the headrests like that, which are tilted forward, I re-install them facing backwards. The car seats no longer push against them (since they tilt backwards now) and I still have a way to attach seat protectors around them. Not sure how the cable would affect it, but may be worth trying.

Crazy we have to do this to safely install a seat in a family vehicle. Only thing you didn't mention with the seat on the headrest it absorbs the hit in an accident.... The child's head...

The wife likes it but I still prefer the raptor. I think it just depends what you want. I find the truck more useful and capable but if you’re looking for a large luxury suv then it’s a good choice. No issues with it so far
