I hope you guys at kicker read this comment. 4 weeks ago i didn't even know how wire gauge was. Yesterday I installed the key 200.4 with just factory speaker still on and the only atfter 20 minutes of setting up the mic, I was able to got insanely good amazing sound out of my old speakers. I could hear notes and things that i didn't even know was in the song. It was soo magical. I don't know enough to tune my own dsp and I'm too proud/ashame?? to get help from the shop so this is perfect. Now I'm a lifetime customers. I will be getting 500.1 and a kicker down sub too to. I can't wait to install new speakers. Thank you Ken and John for videos like these. They're the reasons that convinced me to get this.

This made my factory 2024 Civic Sport Hatch stereo turn from night to day!! unreal changes and power. Then I added the Kicker 12 inch powered sub and OH BOY!!!!! When doing your setup, set you base/ tremble to med and fader / bal to med before setup. Great video

Love ya Kicker. Y’all left before setting them gains. 200.4 owner here, Hallie Special for about two years now. I am very happy with the product THOUGH!!!! Per the gains comment, when bi-amp is enabled, preamp connected to front set per manual now comes setting gains. Having to cut my now soldered wires is a pain firstly(rookie mistake) to set gains. Second, proper gain voltage is only seen on AMP 2 output. AMP1 shows 0-1.8v on left and right.. why? It’s very clear and quite loud 3.33v max from OE head unit

Chip shortages have pushed back production. We will have more later this year.

So when is the 300.6 coming out? I know it has got to be in the lab. It just makes too much sense to not make one. No more having to decide if you want active front stage or if you want to amplify all 6 speakers in base audio systems. Make it firmware upgradable with a very lite optional PC interface and it would be the perfect amp for 90% of customers. You would sell a ton and completely corner the market. I have also noticed that the prices of 200.4s on Ebay have been constantly dropping, so that makes me think something is on the way.

In Bi-Amp mode can I remove the capacitors that came with my KSC270 spekers, or should I leave them on as a just in case?

If your car battery dies, does the DSP save the pink noise calibration?

The calibration is saved, even if the battery is disconnected.

Wouldn't be easier too just install The substage system Part No: VKL3Z18808A for the f150 as there's a more stock looking system. As too that system where's the best place too find it... I been looking too buy on but I can't find it anywhere as They say there outta stock

Do you need to install a keyloc with this amplifier to restore factory bass roll off?

The DSP builrt into the KEY corrects bass rolloff, provided you feed it a full range signal to work with.

Just ordered this amp for my MINI Cooper. Sorry if this has been asked already elsewhere, but do you stay in the car while the test is running? Doesn't your body (or lack thereof) affect the acoustics?

Yes it does. You normally exit the vehicle for the test.

@@KICKER-AUDIO It would be helpful for all if at the 5:00 mark -- where they guy says "the gain setting features, which we'll talk a little bit later on how to set gain" -- you added something to let viewers know that you won't actually be talking about gains later in this video and provided the link to the video where you do discuss it.
