You are convinced because you are a petrolhead, you believe in what other people say based on your own beliefs. Unfortunately, all that talk is purely for our entertainment. However, Porsche is reverting back to bigger displacement engines because they can tune them to not work so hard to produce the same performance as a smaller engine, thereby saving fuel. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same mentality as Porsche, so we can scream all we like, but we enthusiasts are a small voice in a bigger world. Unless we protest in the streets together, electric and smaller engines are the future of high-performance road cars. (But please do not protest, it will do more harm than good in the long run.......)

Beautiful piece Trader Team! The background music and Rory's words combine to bring out pure emotion in me. A fitting combination to wave into the sunset, a great powerplant and a great era for performance road cars. I'm not typically that fussed over engine types and N/A vs Turbos, I think smaller turbo engines have great potential in terms of emotive driving. However, I can't deny that a Ferrari V12 is something else, in terms of audio pleasure. While we will look forward to a new era in performance and new technology, it's fitting that we celebrate what came before.

There will, as of now, only new petrol and diesel cars will not be allowed to be sold in the UK come 2030, so all the older stuff made before that, we will still have them. So no worries if no one makes them in the future, there are more than enough V12s to go around right now, for the small percentage of people that can afford them.
