Uh, no. Had the wife's 2017 Explorer Sport, Ford Advantage CPO Progran, perfectly fine, She loved it. Then we got an offer we couldn't refuse, i.e., it's worth 10 grand more. So we recently scooped up an off-lease CPO 2021 ST, the 21" package, quickly installed H&R lowering springs, and we are happy campers. Platinum would have been a downgrade from the Sport ... for our money, I should say.

For 2022, the Explorer King Ranch as well as Platinum actually just got the same power and torque the ST has. Both will have 400 HP and 415 LB FT torque.

Fords website for 2022 right now says the platinum and king Ranch don’t come with twin turbos and still produce 385 horsepower

I think that’s only ur explorer cuz I have a 21 explorer xlt with 4wd and the mode select isn’t inverted for me it works just fine and even with the xlt it has so much power it’s really fun, oh yea and the infotainment I feel like that’s more of a love it or hate kinda thing because I know a few people that hate and some more people that love it

I was going say the same thing I have 22st and it’s 4wd and the suspension, transmission, gears and steering adjust depending on your selected mode.

Why do people say hyundai and kia adaptive cruise is good? I have driven multiple and it is hands down the worst adaptive cruise...every one I have driven never even finds lanes to say it can stay in.

i use the adaptive cruise on the explorer (hybrid) and it is the best. only problem is that it thinks your not touching the wheel a lot. but it only thinks that cs it’s keeping you in the lane so you don’t have to do anything.. kinda stupid

I think this is a beautiful SUV. I like the design. I like the look. But I have heard that it has some issues. It got an 8 out of 100 for reliability from experts. Transmission problems, paint bubbles and body parts issues. Have you heard about any of these issues?
