Amazing for this price, that Ford doesn't put a wheel well liner in their trucks.

Great truck. When will Ford finally implement the GMC CHEVY side step bumber?

I’m not sure. I really like that feature on the GM trucks. I wish Ford would add it. There are aftermarket bumpers that have them for the Fords

@atvrepairsandmore24822 жыл бұрын
Leveling kits look great but if you tow a lot I’d consider getting air bags with the leveling kit because it will lean the truck back a loy

How do you like it so far. I am actually trading my 2018 chevy 5.3 in for the 2022 ford f150 XLT sport 3.5. Found my chevy fuel milage wasnt that great. and the paint was terrible on it rock chips everywhere. Hoping the ford has better quality paint.
@atvrepairsandmore2482 Жыл бұрын
Noticed lots of rock chips on the Chevy also. No complaints with the truck. The 21’ had a few recalls but it’s also a first year of a new design. The 22’ should be good. We have 65k miles on the 2021 f150 and it has been good so far. Drives and pulls amazing.

@@atvrepairsandmore2482 oh awesome good to hear. Im getting the 7 year 200,000km warranty which cover’s pretty much everything so at least ill be covered if something does. Do you know if changing your own oil voids warranty?
@atvrepairsandmore2482 Жыл бұрын
@@lindengauthier4407 it shouldn’t void it but I’d ask the dealer just to make sure. They can’t void your warranty unless they can prove that the oil change is what caused the issue

Just run 87 all the time. I’m sure it would do better on 93 but it has plenty of power as it is. Fuel is also to expensive to be using 93, especially with the 36 gallon tank

Any comments on fuel mileage, especially while towing?
@atvrepairsandmore24822 жыл бұрын
Seems to get 7-11 towing. Depends on the wind and what you are towing. Whatever you are towing, the truck doesn’t feel it. Rows really well. Not pulling it usually gets 19-22 on the highway going 70-80 mph
@MrAerotrike2 жыл бұрын
@@atvrepairsandmore2482 So far, I've only seen 8.4 towing (3 trips). I have the SuperCab 3.5 Ecoboost. Would love to see it get up to 10+. Are you using regular gas or premium?

@@MrAerotrike just regular. Turbo charged gas engines are not very fuel efficient when towing but this truck sees mostly unloaded highway miles. The v8 is definitely slightly better on fuel when towing

How do you like the extended bed with the SuperCrew? I really want the longer bed but I'm anxious about the maneuverability in general, I do take my own 4x4 trails and I realize it's a full size truck, but my truck that I have now has the longer bed but it's only an extended cab so it's going to be longer for sure, just wanted to get your two cents.
