2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Active Park Assist 2.0 DEMO!

I demonstrate how “Active Park Assist 2.0” works in a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E First Edition! The perpendicular was decent, but the parallel park was bad. It was partly due to me not having an ideal spot to do it in.

Same here, I had a 2017 Lincoln MKX and it worked PERFECTLY, this one is more work and nerve wracking since you're not using any brakes between steps...Will Ford pay for any cars hit using this tool and the car doesn't stop? HA HA

@@JVette01 I did watch that video (good video btw) but that was towing numbers not payload. To my knowledge Ford spec sheets for payload only gives max numbers not for individual trims. The spec sheet says max payload for short bed supercrew EB 3.5 is 2100lbs but that's a base truck. Platinum is a few hundred lbs more so the payload would be less, I just wanted to know how much less. Thanks.

@@JVette01 Thanks. If you have a 2021 Platinum in house you can check the door jam sticker. It will give you the payload for that specific truck based on its options. Appreciate your help.

Current Mustangs do not come with this feature nor do they come with foot open on hatchback due to chip shortages

It isn’t a Tesla killer. Ford is making 50 000 of these 2021 and Tesla is trying to make a 1 000 000 cars 2021. But Mach E is a great car and truly a worthy competitor to Model Y. In Europe Most buyers of the Mach E used to own German cars.

@@DuesenbergJ Ford is only making 50,000 of these. Maybe 200,000 GT versions. They need to ramp up production as there are far too many buyers and not enough Mustangs. I'm guessing next year will be the year that they crush Tesla once and for all.

@@jimcmf2 Tesla isn’t going anywhere. They are to big and will dominate the EV market for at least the next decade. And there is simply no capacity to produce enough battery’s to challenge Tesla right now. But this is the first time in decades Ford offers a truly desirable car in Europe. Ford did a great job with this one. They will sell everything they can produce.

Ford have without warning removed the feature in Q2 2022 cars in at least Denmark, and Ford say it is due to chips shortage. Many other smaller Ford models still have the feature!! Ford removed the feature from akkready ordered MME's... This is simply stupid behavior Ford, go and get that system working for us, your customers, whenever the chips are available again!!!
