The Ford Maverick is what got me more interested in a small truck and I absolutely love this one. Good fuel economy, small enough to put in my garage, but the 45,000$ price is pretty high. I’m hoping the used market will have more of these in the future!

Great commentary. I’d use the little cubby under the console toggle switches for my garage door opener if it would fit to save the metal clamp from damaging my visor.

Why even bother getting a truck with no 4ws

1. Cheaper to purchase up front. 2. Cheaper to maintain long-term; fewer components to maintain and repair. 3. Vehicle weighs less due to fewer components. 4. Less weight = better fuel economy. 5. Less weight = better towing and payload. 6. A good set of winter tires beats 4WD in all winter weather driving conditions; we have Michelin X-Ice. 7. While 4WD is useful to aid in acceleration on snow and ice, it is useless in these conditions in every other way as it does not aid handling, maneuverability or braking on snow and ice. 8. 4WD is useless on dry pavement, gravel roads and wet roads which is 100% of our driving conditions for 8 months of year. 9. The truck is used exclusively for towing and hauling on road; we have no need for it to go off-roading. We needed a truck but couldn't make a business case for 4WD so we didn't get it. Why bother getting a truck with 4WD if you aren't going to use the 4WD?

@@mgiraudjr I would imagine it's unnecessary for the vast majority of people, it's more of a placebo effect. Despite that, here in the Great Lakes snow belt of Southern Ontario you'll almost never find a 2WD truck or crossover on a dealer lot unless it was factory ordered like our's.

For the $45,000 price tag, I'd expect there to be at least air vents in the back lol. Not to mention it's very similar interior to the Colorado but aside from that, it's a pretty nice truck. I like it.

I have a very big concern with this little baby sierra. $45,000 for a compact truck. Someone would have to be a total DUMBASS to pay $45,000+ for this pint size truck. I'll let someone else take the initial hit on buying this little truck from a dealer and after they put a couple of miles on it I'll buy it used for $28,000-$32,000.
