Trust me it’s worth the extra $600.00. I test drove the 2021 and with my weight of 220 lbs I bottomed out occasionally be it a dip in road or Pot Hole. My 2022 ADV 150 swallows up the bumps with no extra jarring of my body. Currently have a little over 1,000 miles at this time. In Iowa it’s winter and time for storage months. I have consistently got over 100mpg driving mainly 25-45 mph. Love this scooter ❤️👍

I've owned this bike for over a year now and love it! I have lots of videos on my channel if anyone has questions and I recently did a group ride that had 16 bikes. The Honda ADV 150 kept up just fine and I've been very impressed with the power considering it's only a 150cc engine. I'm not a fan of highways, although it can do it. I've had mine up to 67mph before the limiter kicks in.

I think this is a lot less of a cokehead design. in the US its a design exercise but in the developing world this is basically a toyota camry. Think about places like south america, vietnam, etc. Where scooters are far more common transport and even in urban environments you can find brick or dirt roads.

I bought mine just over a month ago and have been having a real blast with it, both on and off road. It's a comfortable cruiser that can do highway speeds, suited to light touring and a bit of dirt/gravel fire-trail exploration, while offering enough secure underseat storage to pick up the groceries with about the same fuel economy as a Honda Grom. I've got a few videos of it in action on my channel too!

@godspeed444 жыл бұрын
How would you compare it to the Grom both on and off road?
@WildStuff4 жыл бұрын
@@godspeed44 On the road - smoother, faster, more powerful, much more comfortable, a pleasure to ride at highway speeds. Off road - much better suspension, larger grippier tyres, but being slightly heavier it's hard to throw around quite as much as the Grom, and the seating position makes it hard to stand upright. So it's great for unsealed roads but it still wouldn't be a substitute for a dirt bike for real off roading.
@WildStuff4 жыл бұрын
Also, being a scooter with no clutch, you can't use engine-braking on big steep descents. You just have to roll while gently squeezing the brakes, which is a bit frustrating while coming down steep dirt roads with rocks and pot-holes.

I'm a technician that specialized in suspension and performance upgrades like I did on my 2019 Tracer 900, that is to much for around the village here in Thailand. So I just bought the 2023 ADV 160. I'm very impressed with the stock suspension and brakes. But the seat pocket is to far forward for my 34-in inseam, and the windshield is so short it directs a blast of wind into my face. It cost just under 3,000 USD here. I ordered a new aftermarket seat and windshield. $50 each delivered. Will use the seat pan to cut and customize simular to what Corbin Seats has to offer for $500.

the 150 wont hit 70, let alone hold it. 6k miles of ownership here, rev limiter hits in "top gear" at 67, and you have to tuck in and have a tailwind to get there. you can hold 60 if there arent any big hills. 55 all day with the ability to pass, eventually... although on really big hills you wont hold 55. cant speak to the new 160 but it only has one extra pony over the 150. ive read that the rev limiter doesnt hit until 73 mph but again, good luck getting there.

Critical Error USA versions come with a rear drum brake. In other countries it has a disc. We get screwed in the USA. I wish we could get cool Africa Twin colors but all we can get is that black/gray/silver trim color.

Maybe I'm wrong but 150? Here in Europe it's 25ccm to much for being legal to drive by car drivers (maybe intentionally?), if so why not make it 250? From what I know, because of the 125ccm craze, you can have up to 300 for the same exact price. Plus all of bikes nowadays have to be ADVENTURE. And like most of them GS's, this will never see dirt. Not that it matters much, just an observation.
