Fun fact, The 1.5 diesel in the amaze is shared with the City. In the city it makes 100hp and 200nm. In the amaze it's detuned to 80hp and 160nm in the CVT 90HP and 180nm in the manual.

honda manual maybe engaging , but nothing stands against the punch of an TDI, only type2 city vtec was a gem, others are not up to the expectation. the civic's we have in India is nothing compared to the type R's in Japan and other markets.

3 cylinder engine,Not so reliable compared to Honda.Poor After sales support and below average AMT box compared to Honda CVT.so if you are looking for reliable sub 4 meter sedan with decent AT, then Amaze CVT is only better option.Now if you are looking at Manual then you can look at Tigor and other options.This despite Amaze petrol is under powered and poor soft suspension.
