I like the 18's for the comfort and practicality aspect for a DD. Those TE37 SL's are sweet but I'm not feeling the color, but that's obviously a matter of personal pref. No engine cover is my vote and maybe a Spoon or Mugen strut brace. Still a sick install vid none the less. Keep it up!

Although 19's might look slightly better, I think the 18's will provide the best ride quality on the streets. Also, leave the plastic engine cover off. It looks much better and will make the car lighter. Nice build. Although the new CTR is too flamboyant for me at this stage in my life, I am glad that we can get the car over here in the states now.

Here’s what I think, Honda would have agonised over the styling of this beautiful car and the wheels are a huge part of that painstaking process… stock wheels are always the best and most aesthetic.

19’s are great from an aesthetic standpoint but for functionality 18’s with a nice tire are way more practical in a performance application like this. Those TE37SL’s are a dream wheel of mine!

I was about to add the same comment. The stock wheel/tire configuration appeals to new enthusiasts by looking dramatic. The customer in this case has made a wise choice. The car will perform much better on the track (street track counts, lol) with no rubbing issues, pothole forgiveness, and a little sidewall flex in the turns keeps the tread gripping.

I’m probably the only one who thinks this, but the black wheel color looked so much better than the TE’s.. but the TE’s have a better wheel pattern design. I think if the TE’s were 19” and in matte black it’ll look so good. The smaller wheel diameter in that gray and polish finish was a step backwards but probably looks better in person?

It definite looks better with the stock-forged rims. I don't know, perhaps other model you should try, but these ones don't fit well. On the other hand, the lips and and the painting you did to the black parts look outstanding. Another aspect to consider is the valve cover, particularly in this engine which comes with some hoses and wiring over the valve cover, so to hide that, they created the engine cover. But it does not make sense to place the yellow valve cover if it is going to be hidden. Rather than that, you guys did an amazing job.

Umm.. Just wanted to ask why no Honda bond on the quench points (trans side) of the new valve cover gasket? It was clear during removal of the old gasket that it was present with the effort to remove it? Just wanted to clarify it to viewers that it is necessary step before valve cover install to re-apply some Honda bond at these critical areas to avoid oil leaks. Excellent content, love the restoration of iconic Honda classic's! Keep up the good work!
