Why did you replace the steering wheel rather than have a new leather wrap stiched on? love the build.... so jealous! How much did it cost you in total and what do you think the labor hours were?

dont let this video distracts you from the facts that Hector is gonna be running 3 Honda Civics with Spoon engines, on top of that, he just came into Harry's and he ordered 3 T66 turbo with NOS and a Motec system exhaust...

Impressive. Couple of questions. 1) Your making double the factory HP, what have you you done to the Engine Internals to take that much power? Or is this a grenade waiting to go off? What about the axels, will those take the increase HP/Torque? I know you upgraded the clutch, but what about the Diff? When I do a hard pull passing (2nd-3rd and 3rd-4th) I can feel the Limited slip kick in to counter the Torque steer. Almost seems to be a solenoid controlled Limited Slip not a mechanical one (or one of those fake brake ones). At what point does that increased Torque tell the Diff "Nah Man, not happenin"?

Good content, but some basic mistakes. Brake pads going in raw without any lube on the contact points. Brake fluid clearly over filled. Turning the rotor off the car, how old is that? A shop like that should have the machine to turn them while on the car (accounts for the wheel hub and mating surface). Not sure what to think.

I sold my 07 v6 accord to get into a 09 TL. Both cars perfect daily’s. Love the low end torque and comfort that these chassis offer. I always heard bad stories about the J series transmissions. Sitting at 225,000 miles I disagree at the skepticals.

Just curious, what spring rates are you running front and rear with the Honed suspension?
@MrTadashiSan
@MrTadashiSan 3 күн бұрын
The Honed suspension stuff can pair up with most OTS coilover setups. This particular setup is 16k front, 12k rears which as you may know is a bit too stiff for the street. However for primarily doing HPDE events using 200TW tires this setup is doing great.

I thought the block was done-zo after seeing piston nuggets within the first minute of the video. Im not an engineer or anything of that nature, but if i were to take a guess, i think the valve let go somewhere on the upstroke of that piston and dropped in to the cylinder near the top of the stroke, hence the damage at the very top of the cylinder. I think the hole in the cylinder was caused with that first contact and that sudden loss of compression is what spared the engine from any further catastrophic damage elsewhere. the rest of the damage to the combustion chamber happened as the engine was winding down. Id be interested to hear what yall think. heck, id like to see it simulated with software.

If I were Tadashi; he should consider getting a Toda Racing 2.2 K20A stroker kit with 87mm pistons. The US dollar to Japanese Yen is very favorable for him to order from Toda Racing website.
