Pretty interesting seeing the two exhaust designs right by one another. Great tutorial comparison. My Trail125 has a Yoshimura Magnum GP. Driven it about 400 miles so far. No mph increase thus far. Bike seems a bit snappier though. Love the looks and sound too.

It was pretty revealing on how small the stock system was at the header. Interesting that you had no gains, I won’t spoil my future videos, but I did experience a decent gain myself

@@John5XR Ikr? Maybe its my oring chain. I instantly thought that when you said 57mph and I'm dead at 53mph consistently... and were both on the sane flat portion of the globe 🌎 🙄

An o ring chain will definitely drag it down a bit, it man that’s a huge difference!

@@John5XR Yeah, the only caveat is much less chain slack adjustments on it. I'm lazy 🤤😴

Appreciate the video, ordered a Takegawa exhaust and high flow air intake. Wondered about mapping the ECU, did it adapt to the exhaust like you said?

I got up to 64 mph… but that was downhill and tucked down low. 🤣🏁

Awesome, can't wait! Offroad wise, how do you think these compare with the Honda Grom?
@John5XR2 жыл бұрын
The trail is going to be the better casual off-road bike for sure, but a well prepped Grom (like mine) will be more fun to ride fast off-road. Check out my off road Grom videos and you can see how fast I go on the same trails as the Trail

the reason why Honda needs to makes the oem header pipe that small in diameter from the head to catalytic converter is to speed up the flow rate to get and keep the catalytic converter at optimum operating temperature no mater what weather conditions are out there... good for the CAT, bad for the Torque

Off idle TQ improvements, are they seat of the pants, you can feel it?? Or is it just mathematics.

This video explains how to waste your money and make your 10hp bike sound annoying.
