Thanks for the info, I have a question hope you can give an insight. As per ACS policy I know that once you upload a file that you are unable to delete them. I realised that I made a mistake for one of my employment entries where I doubled it and I can’t delete the 2nd entry. How do I fix this or any workarounds? New registration maybe?😊

I completed PY program(IT) back in 2017 after graduating my bachelor of IT degree. and I successfully got the skill assessment of ICT Business Analyst occupation. Now, can I still use that PY to fulfill the requirement when applying for another skill assessment of similar occupation like software engineering or programmer developer after graduating the master of IT course? I understand it will depend on the subject I will study. I'm not sure PY can be used for the assessment for multiple times and maybe the valid period of 48 months applies here as well just like EOI...?

Extremely helpful video! I have a question and hoping you might be able to answer it. I am going for the Web Administrator occupation on the list for my visa. I have a Bachelors degree in Digital Media (not from Aus) but 1/3 of the course was Computer Science modules (all the main CS modules you can think of, including web development and web design, plus other technical digital media modules) ..So basically 2/3's of the course was technical and the remainder was media theory. In the guidelines, it says to meet the ICT Major criteria, the bachelor degree is deemed as having a major in computing if at least 33% of the qualification is ICT. Am i right in saying I will be under the ICT Major and closely related category? Or would it be unrelated, as the degree title is Digital Media? Thank you.

My query is that the course, i.e., Master of Business Analytics at Macquarie University, Sydney, is not accredited by ACS (Australian Computer Society) compared to the same course from other Australian Universities. Does the ACS accept a UK 1 year masters degree to be of 'Bachelor degree or higher'? Their guidance 2.4.1(c) mentions at least 1.5 years of full time study for post grad qualifications. Great content! There are mainly 4 applications types in ACS. I have Australian degree & did "Post Australian Study Skills Assessment"( with PY no Aus work experience then) after my Professional year. During my PY and TR visa I also worked in relevant field of IT for 1+ years. My "Post Australian Study Skills Assessment" is now expired (as it was done 2 years ago). Thank you for your quick response actually we applied through migration agent and he instead of selecting skills general assessment select post study assessments, so instead of getting 10 points for overall experience she only got 5 points for Australian study and experience on top of it he is not even accepting his mistake and now asking for more money to reapply which is really frustrating and financially overwhelming

Hello, how are you? I have got one question I am doing professional year program and once i get the completion letter i will get degree assessment. Professional year points expires in 3 years. Professional year also works as skill assessment for students who dont have 1 years experience in their occupation but once our PY expires we definitely lose 5 points but then how can I do skill assessment after 3 years because we can never go for any general skill visa without skill assessment? If anyone can help me out with this

Hi, I am an Assistant Director (ICT) of Ministry of Finance Sri Lanka. I have an MSc in Computer Science and my first degree is Bachelor of IT. I am planning to do a skills assessment from the ACS for ANZSCO code 261111 - ICT Business Analysts, which is closely related to my current occupation. However, even though the job description of the ANZSCO code 261111 - ICT Business Analysts perfectly matches my duties and responsibilities, my title in the government is "Assistant Director (ICT)". Can that be assessed against the given ANZSCO code or will it be a problem? If so, what can I do about it?

Hi Madushani, I don’t think it will be a problem. I too was sponsored for the position ICT business analyst from an employer in Australia. Unfortunately mine had some problems due to qualification requirements.

Coz I got my result today and it says unsuitable. “Your ICT skills have been assessed as unsuitable for migration on under ANZSCO Code 261112 (Systems Analyst).
