Man... The part from DC that he would hug the player every game to get them going hits hard. He wants to build his players, not beat them down like former head coach. We’re so lucky to have John Dorsey on our staff. No one person is more responsible for the complete 180 turnaround in Cleveland from perennial doormats to a top AFC team then John Dorsey. He was the main architect, and it’s his vision that’s flourishing there now. He’s exactly what we needed. Finally-we’re getting some of the right people who can come in make a seriously positive difference.

I love what you guys are doing. This is hopefully a true rebuild. Inside out, the trenches. Build to win for multiple seasons not build to win now. 5 year plan. I do not expect the playoffs until year 3 or 4 of this regime. Get more early draft picks. Get as much talented players on rookie contracts as possible. Then when this team is solid it should have decent money under the cap to go get those free agents to put you over the top. Great O-line to open holes for Swift and protect Goff on some play-action plays. Build that D-line to stop the run and pressure the QB. Next year go after building up those linebackers and maybe a weapon for Goff. I'm just a cabinet maker so what do I know other than at age 11 in 1985 I became a Lions fan and have been DIE-HARD fan since. ONE playoff win in that time and I follow every week of the season since 85. This feels like the first REAL rebuild the Lions have ever done. This regime feels different. Please do this. I have nothing nor have I ever really but to have a fulfilled life I want only two things. One was to go to Graceland and see Elvis's grave and the second is to see the Detroit Lions win at least just 1 superbowl!!!! Just ONE!!! Then I could die a happy man. #OnePride

Next season we are going to be in a BIG position in the draft. So the draft room needs to look more polished, not rented, with that said get a TV set production developer in house and make a pretty room all the other teams will need to compare with. May be a good job for Rod Wood
