Thanks for taking us along! Was awesome to see all the Fords, the corvette museum, the fighter jets, and all of the other shenanigans. I’m going to agree with you, the drag racing is probably my favorite 😂. And WOW! I thought the body was going to roll right off the frame on the falcon 😳😂!

I think you did a great job with what you have. If you want to get serious about the autocross, you should get a 200 cid short block and put the 170 cylinder head on it. This will boost compression and still have the same size valves. A fluid and filter change with band adjustment at your local AAmco should help with the shifting problem. I think the slow 2nd gear shift is a band that is too loose. But no matter what you decide to do, let me say GREAT VIDEO !

Especially the older ones like the 63 1/2 Futura and 64 wagon I owned a 63 1/2 baby blue Futura in the late 70’s that had already been 302 swooped It was basically a pile of junk and a bit of a death trap but Man…! That thing was Fast! Would pull the front wheels (slightly) when you hit it. I’d love to see you turn your Futura into a v8 Badass! Please Do! But love Any Ford product and Love your vids.
