Cool video. But you can keep your heavy Cummins and all of its associated aftertreatment system. I work on them for a living. Don’t get a modern diesel in a HD truck if you don’t need it.

You said that all Gladiators are available with either the 3.6 or the diesel.. not true the Mojave only comes with a 3.6.

I appreciate this comparison. I am a former Gladiator Rubicon owner who now has a 2020 Power Wagon and now considered getting a Gladiator Mojave. Lol. For a couple reasons, save a little bit of money on both payment and fuel, and also, like the reviewer, I miss having a Jeep in my life. I’m also a manual fan and I can get a manual with the Mojave.

I liked this comparison as I own a PW and do love it but it’s a bit big for everyday use and it’s very tall to load dirt bikes in and out.

U nailed it if I don’t have a wrangler I would get the gladiator for sure. Since I currently own 3 wrangler and the jk and jl were all paid off so I don’t have to trade or sell them and just recently got a Pw. Since owning pw and notice that most Pw owner are also Jeep people.

Totally get why you did this comparison. I’m debating in the same way as Brad from Trail Recon did. The Mojave is the best Version of the Gladiator/JL and does the Jeep thing which is a real thing for so many. If you don’t get....you don’t get it! Powerwagon is a Jeep in Ram clothing. So, it’s either a Jeep thing or Powerwagon Just don’t Care!

Power wagons have been the truck of trucks for 75 years man. A jeep is a jeep, they are not a truck in the clas s of power wagon. There's only 1 power wagon.

Best version? Only Gladiator trim you cannot get the diesel in. That really sucks cause you don't get the diesel or the turbo and 260hp is pretty anemic for any off-road performance vehicle.

Yeah they failed to mention that even in a BGE in the Ram, it tows a crap ton more than the Gladiator will. Granted it’s a midsize truck frame compared to a 3/4 ton HD truck. Should’ve stuck with more of “If you want something of a smaller off-road yet fairly capable at truck, get the Jeep. If you want something of a gigantor Road dozer with fairly decent off road capabilities, get the Power Wagon.

Traded my Gladiator in for a Power Wagon. The things a beast. Rides so much nicer, more room, comfort level doesn’t come close. The Gladiator drift at highway speed sucks on long trips. Look it up, it’s common. I’m happy with the PW.

Good video 👍. Heads up to any interested power wagon buyers. Expect 7 mpg in city and 13 on the hwy ( with 35 's). Also, this truck never struggles for power at any speed.

You don’t buy a power wagon for fuel efficiency. But that being said I get 11 mpg around town and around 16 mpg on the highway, also I’m running 37” tires .

@@CoryTheCanadian that's the truth. I've improved slightly, getting 9 mpg city/12 hwy. Drove 2hrs in a snow storm last week. This thing is a beast! Never lost a sec or time. Happy to give up a few gallons for the power!

Good comparison. The Jeep can carry 1,200 but I wanted to know the Power Wagon too. Being able to load 4’x8’ sheets is the best but I want to go to the quarry occasionally as well.

Pw looks like a truck but honestly if you wanted tow/payload youre better off with any of the other 2500 trims that ram offers or 3500. Because of the offroad suspension, pw payload and tow rating are way low.

@@nobodysbusiness4828 No one calls them Dodge trucks anymore. They completely rebuilt the trucks and made them just as good as anything on the road, which is why they dropped the old moniker of Dodge and rebranded them as RAM's, because they are nothing like the old ones.

uh because some people like him as well as myself considered the PW before buying a Gladiator. Not sure how you think their not comparable at all, both are trucks, both have beds, both have off road capabilities. Those are the things I looked at.

False. Some of us need the offroad capability that lockers and sway disconnects along with solid axles offer. In my case Ive had a Gladiator Rubicon for 2 years and am considering trading to a Powerwagon. Now have 3 kids in car seats and the Powerwagon is the only vehicle larger for the car seats that retains the Jeep Rubicon capability.
