I have the 2021 Kia Picanto GT-Line Orange Sonderediton with 100PS. I got it 3 days ago in germany. I love the sound of the engine and i love the power of the 3 zylinder turbo. My old Picanto with 69PS is really slow in comparioson.

Cool review. First time I've seen a sound level check inside the car, nice idea until electrics dominate. I previously owned a 2008 and a 2015 model, both 5-speed stick shifts. I'm 182cm and was so surprised to fit perfectly in the driver's seat the first time I got in! Thanks for showing the new model ^^

I have a 2008 Picanto with 1.1 lt 5 speed manual and only noise I have is from the tires that are for especially for rain at 120kph

In S. Korea, if you choose a UVO feature, it comes with the SOS button on your room mirror.

I've had the non turbo 1.0 and now driving the turbo version. It's a completely different car due to the 100 hp. Adding a tuning box makes it a small beast with lots of FUN too😂

18:48 you are right, from 60-100km is the power gap phase for picanto/morning, engine getting noisy and speed up power wasn't obviously, being patient until over 100km, you will feel better for revving reaction 😁

In Australia, the top model spec is the GT..Unfortunately we don't get the ventilated/heated front seats, instead just big blanked off plastic sections ahead of the gearshift and no sunroof!

Hello...excelente vídeo, son buenos tuve el 2014 ION_ESTREM 1.250 CMS ambos muy económicos para el precio que tenemos por galón de gasolina es el automóvil del pobre acá en 🇦🇲 ...ya que no se puede dar el lujo adquirido una camioneta SUV compacta o el sistema de CHASIS alta gama es el adecuado en el alcance del bolsillo es el perfecto, ahora tengo el 2019 automático no molesta para nada, no le niegues nunca el mantenimiento trabaja como un reloj SUIZO se comporta muy bien, lo recomiendo, me disgustó son los neumáticos deberían ser 205/185/15 idea descabellada para.que no allá inconveniente en el rozamiento con el piso《asfalto y rizado》...esperaba esta modificación, el rin perfecto indiscutible..feliz NOCHE...UN ABRAZOTE... I've just got the 1L turbo X-line and I'm loving it. It is white but this honeybee colour is magnificent. damned, oh well for the next one it will be this colour ( this is my 3rd one, every 4 years I buy the latest one 😁)

is it really 76 PS ? in europe it has 67 PS, maybe you flipped the numbers or has it really that different specs ? I ordered one, but with the 1.2 liter engine (84 PS) and the automatic transmission (5 speed now). I didn't take the package where you have all the safety helpers in it, I hate to have the car beeping the whole day ;) Just took the navigation and sunroof, this makes the car look a lot nicer on the dashboard, even though I won't be using the nav not that much. As for the sunroof, I love them even though it's a classical one.

@@MotorgraphWorld probably a co2-policy thing. In Europe, car manufacturer's just try to get the best results for the standardized consumption test, which is completely take out from real world driving. They now have a better test that reflects more the reality

I think the reason why you feel it struggles to get up to speed is that it is using an automatic gearbox. Im sure the manual performs much better. These small cars shouldnt have automatics in anyways.

In europe the 4 speed torque converter box has been deleted! Next year there will be a KIA designed DCT. Automated manuals are a very bad idea. Why not a 6 or 8 speed torque converter box like Peugeot have for their 1.2 litre cars? Suspension is too stiff and jostly. Fitting OEM XL tyres does not help. Expect 37 mpg and not the 46+ mpg official figure. Some reviewers have only managed 28 mpg! Its a LIP not a HUMP! 20 mph per 1000 rpm is perfectly normal for most cars under 2 litres. Note: I own a 2 and a 3 spec, both automatic. Not perfect but better than the alternatives by a long way.

@@markaldrine very cheap for them since its assembled in S. Korea and they don't have to pay for a huge amount of sum for shipping. The reason why the Picanto's price is steep here in the Philippines since Kia has to pay for shipping (export), handling, taxes and all that stuff. So they have to break even for that.
