I bought this for myself i love it so much such a fun ride, im used to driving a big SUV like my mothers car and when i used the brakes i was so surprised i actually braked so fast and acceleration/engine in a quiet area is actually so loud and sounds sporty. So i am loving this car so far!

I bought this yesterday after test driving this and the Mazda 2. I've always been a Mazda fan but I cant justify and extra 6k when the picanto is so fun to drive, will all the extras to boot.

@@bradamour827 you don’t need it. It wirelessly connects to your phone and you use Google maps through the main screen. I got an iPhone 13 max so it’s fine for me

We have the 2018GT-line S Turbo version of this car and it's great, and a welcome change from the ubiquitous 'SUV', which it seems all manufacturers are forcing on us these days. It's not 'hot' by any means. But it has a turbo 99 bhp engine which gets the car to 62 mph in 9.9 seconds, which makes it a 'warm' hatch. It's good to drive and I find it's very easy to chuck around. The interior is very nice and makes the car feel more expensive than it really is. I would have preferred an Abarth, but there are no local dealers and I'm not convinced about its reliability.

It's good fun! Will certainly be a smaller car than the Cerato, but if you don't need the space all the time. It'll be a decent upgrade for inner-city driving.

@@Prince-eq3et I have driven small cars before, the picanto gt line is really good man, not bad at all for 1.2 L engine. During the break in period, I was like, Jeeeez this car is slow, but after that period. The FUN begins.

Great review. The issue with Apple Car Play is common. I have a Picanto had it back to the dealer and Kia they don’t have a fix the problem seems unique to the wireless unit

Kia has been working of a firmware upgrade to fix the yuppys using iphones, works great with samsung phones. you need to do a drive were the lots of bends at 100kmh its fun, i have the picanto S 2018 version pov pack, and im 6 foot 3 and i fit in the car ok as you can lower the seat. had my car 3 years and i live in nsw and the roads have lots of fast speed bends fun.

The GT and X - lines with 16" wheels are a poor choice. Better get the 3 spec. Apple car play works just fine. Its not just a 'city car', it can go hundreds of miles up the motorway. The only issue is the average 35 mpg. But then thats what most cars of any size will do.
