Celebrating 36 years of helping the world’s top young string musicians gain prominence in the competitive world of classical music, the Irving M. Klein International String Competition Co-hosted by Mitchell Sardou Klein and Laureate Tessa Lark, the exciting finals round starts 10AM PDT Sunday 6/6 and features three extraordinary young string players competing for cash prizes and performance contracts.

Weiss Prize for Best Performance of the Commissioned Work: William Tan
The 35-minute final program is to include a movement from a major sonata, and more movements from their chosen concerto. They may play another Bach movement and Bagatelles for Strings, the commissioned work by Sakari Dixon Vanderveer, if time allows. Followed by interviews by Tessa Lark with Yuchen Lu, Bobby Park, Serin Park, Sory Park, William Tan and Dylan Wu during Jury Deliberation. Then, Top Prizes are awarded!
