Help......with the ejk tuner if my header is glowing red at 65 mph, can I make a simple adjustment to help? Thanks in advance!

Hello I do have a Dynojet Power Commander on my 2021 KLX. I did a Delklevic Slip on Changed the filter to a Unfilter and removed the lid Deleted the pair valve and secondary throttle. Do you have a fuel map or tune I can install on my dynojet

I just got my Yoshi exhaust and EJK installed. My hi-flow air filter should be here in a couple of days. Right now I am running the following settings and I feel like she rips! Green - 4, Yellow - 3, Red - 2, GB - 2, YB - 3, RB - 2. I forgot to mention that I do have a 13T front sprocket now as well. Nolan, are you still running your initial settings? Have you found that you like anything else? Thanks!

doesnt adding a tooth in front have the same effect as dropping 1 in back?. some Ive even heard say changing it at front = 2 in the back. so u have less accel an more top speed right, u didnt say why tho for the F sprocket change. what u wanted from it.

What settings are u running on the ejk now? I have a twin air filter/ kdx snorkel/ slip on delkevic, so a similar set up. My header is glowing red though once it's warmed up. I think it's too lean

i cant find a slip on muffler anywhere, what year and model of previous years fits the 2021 klx 300

I always used fmf but on my klx300 I have delkevic which cost half as much and is better quality sounds great not to loud

What made you choose the KLX over the CRF?
@budzilla61683 жыл бұрын
I’d like to know why too, going to be getting one soon
@CyberDemon17763 жыл бұрын
I picked the KLX just because im a Kawasaki guy 🤷🏼♂️ my buddy got the CRF and they are extremely similar, the KLX has ajustable suspension though and it looks cooler 😂
@joshua79993 жыл бұрын
Neighbor has a 2021 crf250f and I have a 21 Klx300 dual sport. Klx is more powerful, adjustable suspension, 6 speed vs crf 5 speed. The crf is skinnier with a lower seat height, air cooled vs klx water cooled, and lighter by about 35 pounds though. I like them both to be honest, it’s not like there’s ever been a situation where one has outshined the other, given our skill level (beginner)

For a lot of us that bought the early KLX300's the CRF's weren't out yet. I might have gone for the rally if they were.
@deanteasdale6252 Жыл бұрын
I did because the suspension is somewhat adjustable

Thanks for the video. I just installed mine and it went through all the lights blinking and then only the 1 and 8 were blinking and the instructions say that means it's installed wrong. Its so simple I don't know how that can be so I double checked and its correct. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

Did anyone else have trouble putting the tank back into place? I felt like it came off so much easier than it went on. Found it hard to get the spaces equal on both sides. In terms of the rubber pieces the tank is supposed to rest on .

I bought the KLX because I wanted a black, gray, or green bike. I despise red on anything.

uhh guys, u really dont need this unless u put on a full header system, otherwise with just a slip-on, put the o2 sensor back on and ecu will learn. dont need to tweak the air/fuel. an btw- gold color on exhaust piping is fine, normal. blue is too lean, too hot. not worth marginal performance gain.. if any to run that lean/hot that pipes blue all the way to muffler and Ive seen that.
@jackh35223 жыл бұрын
Actually I found more performance with fuel controller but you don't have to if you don't want to as bike ran good both ways just faster with controller
@bobbyrobbins98162 жыл бұрын
If you need more power, buy a bigger bike to start with. Right?
@ribalderr60522 жыл бұрын
@@jackh3522 ye guys always chasing a few more Hp, but expensive, those controllers, an theyre always tuning em too lean = hot. dang carbon slip on was $310 alone. mod the suck (air filter) and the blow (slip on) an ur done, (imo). Im not spending more an endlessly tweaking it, its good an Im gone. last ride I thought wow, seems to be getting faster more powerful. 250miles now. I rung it out thru 6th passed 70 in a few seconds. an easy wheelies. its all it can be I think, an very happy here. fall back in lov every ride.

Guess if money is your factor don't buy anything, I did retain O2 sensor with slipon but still got lean condition so fuel controller definitely helps,I have owned over 75 motorcycles so quite adept at tuning, not rich just a love for motorcycles
