Is funny. Land Rovers are known to be super capable for light off roading. Yet the typical buyer won't leave pavement. They aren't the of off roadingg crowd.

Yes I agree not really much off road. But just search on you tube and see lots of videos of the capabilities of the Discovery and you will realise that your Skoda won’t go anywhere like the Disco can

I think within the warranty period you would know. Ours here is 5 years, so it is best to use it all over within 3 years. If there are any issues they will be corrected for free by warranty. We not allowed to fix anything, even wipers or key batteries in the warranty here for 5 years!!! I have had my RRS for 2 years and they organize off road trails through rivers and other stuff, I think to get us hooked because it is difficult to consider an X5 after that. That said, the only issue I had was software update related, which they advised to do at home over wifi. The electronics would default to comfort mode and this happened when I was a bit far from home. Noting all the negativity that is all around them, I got really worried. But guess what, when there are any electronics issues about the drive it always defaults to comfort mode, essentially a skeleton base RR just like an open differential 4x4, normal height ride so u can still off road all the way home no issues. I think most pple are not aware of this. Otherwise there has been no real issues with it, same with others who have owned the preface-lift for over 8 years
