Didn’t expect anything less from a Mark Levinson Reference. I agree they really need to overhaul that infotainment system, but an all new LX is coming next year so that’s why it still has that terrible infotainment. That said, I prefer to buy a Lexus that will run forever instead of a Volvo that will break often(the new ones).

Totally agree w you that easy to use infotainment is critical. For me, it must have a touchscreen and CarPlay. I share cars w my 70 yo dad and he’s able to use CarPlay easily.

went from this sound system to the Harmon Kardon in the x7 because of the parts shortage and the Harmon kardon bass is so disporting compared to this. I will say tho the sound system is the only thing I miss about this car but it’s a damn good system

I do think the standard Pioneer is better than levinson. Because the Head unit is made by Pioneer, so the amplifier will be more compatible. If you think this Levinson is good, that's because of the high quality head unit made by Pioneer, and not this Levinson/harman amplifier.

There's probably someone who's found a way to get AA and CP on the LX570 - here's an Android HU with wired/wireless AA/CP, installed in a previous generation LX470. "Only" 9 speakers and 350 watts from the factory Mark Levinson sound, however even on Spotify 320kbps still sounds pretty good after 16 years... kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnuxooSsfq6laZo
