@@thehdguy378 In addition to that it would be great to get your opinions about selecting the right model based on rider size. Also how do you see one feeling on a particular model ( Comfort / level of control). Here is a random question, how is the feeling of the Road King vs. the Road King Special.? Is the lower shock on the standard a deal breaker? Is the special too bumpy because of the lower shock? Also compare that to the heritage - for around town and touring. Should a 602 240lb. Rider only stick with a touring model in most cases? Nice video skills, especially on the front facing inwards. Thanks, excellent content here!

We have one of each of these2020 model year bikes in our garage, the street bob is just as much or even more fun to ride in my opinion than the Low Rider S. Her bike is a 107 and lacks ABS, that said, the single-disc front brake REALLY is NOT at all a huge difference compared to the dual disc, and I've been in aggressive panic stops with the single disc. The 107 versus 114, not a big difference, her bike hauls arse, obviously, this video is on 2021, 114's. The bottom line - I love and would be completely happy, riding either bike, her bike is actually a little more fun, seems lower, and seems to flick through turns easier for some reason.

What would the ride difference be between the larger rear tire vs the smaller rear tire on the street bob? Would it be noticeable? Thanks ! Love the channel
@thehdguy3782 жыл бұрын
If you’re tuned in to the bike you’ll definitely notice tire sizes. Whether it’s side wall or width of the tire. I like a 180 overall but the smaller tire on the Street Bob is plenty fun. Slightly less traction from a dig, not as much confidence in high speed corners.

street bob is smaller and lighter all around. smaller/lighter fuel tank, smaller/lighter tires. etc.. minimalistic design equals more seat power for sure. debating between the 2 for hopping around Denver/Boulder area. I love the look of them both! Tough decision here. Thanks for the review. I had a nightster and a forty-eight so i feel like the bob would be the closest upgrade for sure.

Hi there, How does your GT Air II perform on the Low Rider S with the stock windshield? Where does the wind hit you and do you get any buffetting/vibration? Do you need an windshield upgrade with that helmet?

Thanks for the video . I’m curious how tall you are because I’m 5 ft 11 and wondering if I’m too tall for the Street Bob already and need to think of a fatboy.
@thehdguy3783 жыл бұрын
I’m 5 ft 11 as well. I think the street bob needs a few things but It’s all just my opinion. I love the bike and I’ve owned one. Ask yourself what drives you first off. Are you a flashy guy? If so, then buy what you think looks cool. If you’re purpose driven then buy something built for the long haul. If you’re more interested in going fast then buy a fast bike. After you’ve identified what drives your passion for Harley, then you can start figuring out what is going to get the job done for you in terms of the model! Call me if you need advice on how to determine which way to go. I’ve got a LOT of miles on every bike. 512-426-4735.

There’s a reason the low rider s is 3k more than the street bob 114. The SB 114 is a more budget option for getting into a well built, super good looking, 114 softail

The S comes standard with ABS. If you add ABS to the Street Bob it's about 2400 dollar difference. It's a tough choice between the two no doubt.

Appreciate the video. But it is totally ridiculous to compare these two bikes. A street bob is just that, a bobber. And in 2022 Harleys made the best version ever. If you’ve been riding Harley Davidson’s for more than a year, and understand the brand and its progression, or if you’re just a fan of old-school retro bikes, you will super appreciate the street bob. If you don’t get it, I understand. These two bikes are for two different things. However both of them will get you laid.

You can compare literally anything. That’s the point if a comparison. Maybe people without that experience are watching this video to understand these differences. Maybe watch the video bub.
