The Mercedes-AMG A35 is a subcompact sports sedan featuring a 302 horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It can hit 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds and has a long list of equipment found in the more expensive Mercedes-Benz products. I was thinking of changing my bmw 330d xdrive, Just had a test drive in one, and like you i got out and didn't know what to think. Perhaps a little harsh ride for a daily although thats the price for a sports car, bit bouncy though after having adaptive suspension. i thought the seats could hug you better, the interior tech and dash was excellent. sounded good compared to a diesel, although more road noise. Think I'll stay with my current car for now.

interior design looks great...is it faster than m240i? less hp and torque compared to m240i..is it smaller and lighter than m240i?

Compared to the M240i coupe auto, the A35 is slightly longer and about 400lbs lighter. Will take a manual M240i everyday

I could be wrong but I don't think the 2020 has the pumped in audio, at least it doesn't sound like it in mine...also any other owners out there, have you had squeaky breaks? I thought it was a gravel (as I live in Canada) but doesn't seem to go away when I brake at lower speeds and heard it might be a known issue

My 21 does not. But if I don’t wash the car for a few weeks, it will make noise.

You can hear the road noise thru your camera... Not good. Also with CO2 restrictions and othe vehicle noise restrictions in general (epecially here in the UK/EU) etc and 2 litre engines the good old engine noise is a thing of the past, in favour of these fake effects.. Its the future i'm afraid - maybe they should just drop it all let us get used to the new quieter 'norm'. Kind of how F1 changed when they went from the V engine to the current hybrid tech. And a shame about that rattle you mentioned - aka build quality, even for a lower entry-end AMG I'd still expect Merc/AMG quaility. I was comparing these vs BMW equivilants (M135i, M235i). I also found in these BMW - there's no feeling from the steering. These cars just do not seem as fun as previous models. Maybe their too engineered these days, and dont leave the driver to manage their own drive, all the fun has been engineered out of the modern offerings. I'm left dissapointed, in the A35 but also the other options out there today.

You could get k5 gt with same power for $15K less or get stinger or genesis rear wheel or awd with way more power and still less money

It will beat many much faster cars from a dig, but on the highway it will not. The trans and engine tuning are top notch, but it’s a de tuned cla45 engine.

Cla45 isnt the same engine
