What is the weight limit on the folding shower seat? I actually think about the heat loss every time a description includes "No floor vents!" as a desirable feature. It would be easy to sweep around it, filter or cover them, or just vacuum and enjoy the toasty floors with your bare toes in the morning. The North Point 377RLBH has been my FAVORITE MID-BUNK for a long time and I love the new changes, especially being wifi ready! I always liked that they have an actual desk instead of making you sit on the edge of your seat with your laptop on the dresser. I love the two extra drawers in the wall. It is very unusual to get both an upper bunk AND the loft above. Usually, it is one or the other. NP does both. Love it! They've always had a kitchen that did not seem too small due to the bonus room. The pantry blocks the tv from stove splatter. I love the extra pull out chopping board now too! The bathroom has always had great storage for towels, tp, etc. The shower is so elegant, it is such a great update to this model! I don't even have a king-size bed at home but with my husband's long legs, boney knees, and elbows I would love it. The contemporary or Japanese style mirror doors always look elegant and let you skip putting a full-length mirror somewhere. The slide. awnings, stable steps, small fridge and cooktop (I don't need a large outdoor kitchen), the stable steps with large handle and gigantic "basement" storage due to the drop frame, easy fuse access, room for the generator, and/or extra batteries, and solar panels it is prepped for that I would want. It's not even close. This has been my favorite for a few years, and they are still improving it. Wow!

Man, they are so close to getting this one perfect- a few things: there needs to be some kind of shelf or cabinet above the blackstone - seems like wasted space. That barn door to the midbunk looks nice, but i would prefer the motorhome style door from the eagle and then put a small coffee station next to the door on the blank wall with a cabinet above. Also, that weird rack above the toilet that prevents the doors on the linen storage needs to go, just do the hooks and mount them higher so you can put the door back on. Its little stuff that could easily be done in the midcycle update!

Can you explain the side wall construction differences between the Northpoint 377 and the Cedar Creek 377 midbunks. Specifically, the difference between “Hung Sidewall” of the CC, vs the Laminated/Pressed type in the Northpoint.
@JoshtheRVNerd4 жыл бұрын
I think this is the best way I can do it: See this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGmldmWcbceXa9E for basic info on laminated vs. non-lamianted *NORTH POINT:* Dual leaved offset lauan layering below the glass glued/pressed together over an aluminum frame w/block foam insulation *CEDAR CREEK:* Uses an aluminum skeleton sort of like a "stick and tin camper" completely with more studs with closer on-center measurements (to maintain strength). The skin & lauan layering below is basically the same as a north point Hope that helps a bit.

*Possibly.* That one is still up for consideration. It's a *REALLY* cool model, but has a few points that prompted us to consider it more closely. In most bunk models (even in budget-minded trailers) folks like a *room* where they can put the kids down w/o having it open to the living area. That toy hauler style loft open to the living room gave me pause. Essentially what that floor plan does vs. this mid bunk is trade the rear sofa in this RV for a 1/2 bath in the 373. It has some *really* cool highlights to it as well of course. It's tough trying to figure it all out sometimes. I would *LOVE* your thoughts on the model. Heater Floor vents? I don't know anyone that uses the floor heater, including my wife and I. We, like most RVers, stay or chase 75° to 80° weather. So, like most RVers, we throw a rug on the floor and make sure they cover the floor vents.. I'm glad you're trying to address the issue, but just double the vent size of a 4" island vents to two 4" or one 8" or two 8" vents. Better yet give us the option to opt out of a heater all together. We've never used one, we use the fireplace and a space heater in the bedroom. Because they are electric.. Saving propane.. Still looking for our next RV. So, thanks.. for what you do.

@JoshtheRVNerd4 жыл бұрын
Depends on what's under the floor sometimes. There are sometimes plumbing conflicts / structural items they will not remove for the sake of a vent. They do actively attempt to put them as far out of the way as possible. If you had X-Ray visions, then I think you'd see why they sometimes are unable to accomplish that goal. A simple removable floor covering for summer time use is an easy answer I think

So one little pet peeve I noticed they go through the trouble of installing a nice size pantry and then limit the depth by installing backing halfway deep of the actual cabinet??? Why if you’re going to install a pantry that wide limit half the depth , when you could easily Narrow the pantry are using the full depth? giving 3-4 more inches of counter space next to the oven , by and making pantry pantry full depth , While using pantry slide outs or not would be a nice option , I would definitely wanna use all that space rather they think we can reach it or not, food storage? Yes use the full depth of the pantry or add by 3 -4 inches to the counter top, in fact the more you look at this layout the pantry is almost an eyesore overly large overly deep it could’ve held back flush with the countertop and still had plenty it obstruct the view of the TV from the dinette? Well it could be recessed 5 inches I don’t understand why it sticks out further than the entertainment cabinet being recessed it might not look as pretty but it will be far more functional and less obstructive ? the floorplan is great but what is the thinking here ?

Can you put a twin in the master and bunk room? I have been looking for months and this looks like it could work for full time, but we must have 2 bedrooms. Can you consider it before you say no. Or we could put twins in if you can not put in the big bed and bunk and couch in the bunk room. Just hope we can work this out.
@JoshtheRVNerd4 жыл бұрын
Can you clarify a bit please on your bedding preferences? Are you asking if the master bed could be changed into a pair of twin beds? Or if a twin could be put into the bunk slide? The change to the master bed would depend on what's below the bed space in the slide. I think it would theoretically be possible, but absolutely not something that will happen from the factory. We'd need to remove the bed base and rebuild it here. Regarding the middle room & bedding... the biggest concern I have there is remembering that bed cannot be left in place when the slide is closed. So you couldn't build a traditional bed base. I suppose you could remove the sofa and basically put a mattress on the floor, but you'd need to pick the mattress up and store it somewhere before closing the slide out. Either way it would fall into the world of aftermarket work

@@JoshtheRVNerd I am caring for my son with Downs. He needs his own room. The bunk seems like camping when it will actually be our home. I cannot imagine him having to sleep on that couch every night, though he will never complain. And i do not need a gigantic bed that i cannot even make due to severe arthritis. How does anyone make a bed with walls right up against the head? Right now i have a murphy bed that i cannot keep sheets on. And my son is claustrophobic in the bunk he can get into. When we camp, he must sleep on the table bed which is just horrid! How long and wide is the bunk? Other manufacturers have bunks where the couch is. Would that be possible with drawers under? Or is that only wide enough for small children? A rig that big ought to be able to accommodate 2 full time people who are not married. Should I write to the manufacturer?

@@TheLakingc The existing sofa's sleeping dimensions are 57x 73" for reference (so you know what kind of space may be available there, that doesn't include the sofa's arm rests in terms of width) The bunk above measures 30 x 62" I'm wondering this model/concept is the right one for you. Rather, perhaps something with a more dedicated middle bunk room would be a better solution like the new Arctic Wolf 3880 that's coming out soon (sneak peek available here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZe6aIh_bLpqmZI) That has dual BEDS in the middle room rather than a convertible sofa/setup. It still provides your son with his private space while also providing a better sleeping situation for him. You'll see the beds flip-up to allow space to close the slide as well.

I really love the layout of this RV and it seem's really thought out in every way and even in every detail. So I do have some questions: Where can I see the full options list and I do have another "problem" -> I'm nearly 6 foot and 6 inches tall, in which part of this RV will I get "in trouble" with my height? And can I tow this RV with an 2019 or 2020 Ford F-350 Lariat with the Tremor Package? Because I don't want to buy a Dually 😉 And by the way: I'm, or we're from Germany, and because the fact that we here in Germany don't have companies which are building such beautiful RV's, I will have to buy one in the States and ship it back to Germany. That might sound spectacular, but I do have a company which is specialized on this kind of "shipping bigger items". Here in Germany another company will have to sort the 110V to 220V conversion out for me, but this is also not really a big problem. So can you please send me the options list (f.e. I would definitely order the awnings for the slide-outs, or the generator prep)? I really appreciate and I thank you in advance, kind regards from Germany, Philipp 👋🏻 EDIT: I do apologize for my english, I'm obviously not a native speaker, so please bare with me 😉👋🏻
